So these are just flysky rxs but I didn't know that when I got it or I wouldn't have because I know they won't work with my tx. Will be using this still but need a tx.

It definitely works. It's funny this three channel receiver has proved be easier to pair than the six channel receiver the remote came with. There is a nice indicator light that gives you an idea of what's happening but the lack of instructions is one of the bigger drawbacks. Also be really careful with powering I've blown up a few of these with batteries just a bit over the rating. It's a good receiver if you’re carefully and you don't mind a little guessing.
