We designed this leash specifically for foil boards. That's why the ends of the leash cord are straight, but the middle is coiled.

The straight cord near the waist cuff and rail saver keeps the leash away from your body, and the coil in the middle eliminates drag in the water and reduces tangling.

  • Regular straight surfboard leashes would drag in the water , so we made ours with coil in the middle to avoid dragging while straight sections near the rail saver and the cuff prevent tangling in your feet.

  • Waist cuff is 2.5" wide, padded with comfortable neoprene and silicone super grip. It also has a key pocket at the end, if you need a place to store your key.

    We also have two other kinds of foil leashes available, if you prefer ankle or calf cuff.

  • This leash will work with any foil board that has a leash plug or somewhere to attach the leash string whether you have a prone surf foil board, wing foil board, eFoil board, or SUP foil board.
