I bought these gloves to keep my plaster cast dry while in the shower. The elasticized cuff keeps water out and the length of the glove reaches my shoulder so no added worries of water infiltration. I was very happy with the number of gloves included in the package.

So I bought these to gut the giant whitetail deer I've been following Elmer Fud style around the woods for the last 4 years. Well apparently he is alot smarter than I so i haven't used these gloves yet on him. But as luck would have it, my goats gave birth this spring and i didn't have any gloves BUT I dug into my hunting bag and found these unused still sealed in the bag. I was able to get these bad boys on just in time to birth a whole barn full of baby goats. Are they perfect gloves that dont ever tear or rip? Nope, but hey sure beats the alternative and if you are careful, you should be able to field dress a deer with clean hands and arms by the end. Most of the time I end up slicing a finger tip or get hung up on a cracked rib and a little blood gets in but I'm sure you have more finesse than I.

The shoulder-length gloves have elastic at the top to keep them in place. The hands are oversized on the shoulder-length gloves and should fit anyone no matter how big or small your hands are. And they are green in color and not orange as pictured, as other reviews have mentioned. The stretchy rubber gloves go over top of the shoulder gloves and smush the oversized hand section of the shoulder gloves down against your hands so everything is form-fitting and snug. The rubber gloves fit my hands well and I usually wear XL to XXL gloves depending on who makes them. They would fit fine on smaller or larger hands also.I've used field-dressing gloves like these in the past in which the rubber gloves ripped and shredded just trying to put them on. Their size was good, but the rubber quality was poor, or they were very old when I bought them and had dried out or gotten brittle in storage before I bought them. The rubber gloves in this kit are excellent quality and are very strong and durable. Was able to put them on just fine with no rips, and they came through the field-dressing tasks undamaged (I've used two pairs of these in the last two days...got a deer each of the past two mornings...yay me! Here's to a filled freezer. :-) )After I had completed my task I actually tried to rip the rubber gloves when I was taking them off both days, and they stretched way beyond what they would ever need to in normal use and did not tear or develop any holes. The low-quality rubber gloves I mentioned above that I've used in the past have made me leery of the rubber gloves in these kits, but these HME gloves are the best I've used. They also offer great touch sensitivity so you can always feel and control your knife, and feel the details of whatever you touch while wearing them.I bought these a year ago after I was done hunting, and finally got to use them the past two days. I'm here to order more for next year so I know I'll have them in my pack, ready to go when next season rolls around. I decided to leave a review while I was here, since they performed so well.

These gloves worked great! My husband was bitten by a tick that made him allergic to ALL mammals (it’s called alpha gal). He is an avid deer and bear hunter but now he absolutely cannot be exposed to any mammal meat or blood/insides. He will have will have an anaphylactic reaction. He continues to hunt now that we fathers gloves. They protected him very well and he says they are comfortable and easy to put on/ off. Highly recommend these gloves!

The item description doesn't tell you how the long gloves stay up on your arms or if they required rubber bands to hold them up. The long sleeves have a elastic band that keeps them up without any restrictions in movement. The "latex" gloves that went over, fit comfortably. My spouse dressed 3 whitetails in a row for people and the gloves held up. No punctures! No bloody mess ( especially if you are concerned with exposure to CWD or Bovine TB. Bought more for Xmas Stockings for next season).
