Light looks to be built good and of good quality. The cord is long enough. Light stays put well, the suction cups work good. Light can be seen very well even at a distance. We can be seen now when plowing.

So this light works really great. The power cord is nice and long and I like the fact that there is no wiring involved. The lights are bright..i just wish the entire unit was a little bit bigger, though. It's super easy to just stick on the roof and the super strong magnets work great like really, they're legit strong so it's super simple to just pop on your roof and go.And the thing looks pretty cool.My kids love to play with it. I think for the price, this is a great value!5 out of 5

Your "strong" magnets didn't hold. The light came off while driving on the highway and dented my car. Very disappointed.

Overall for a $30 mini light bar was quite impressed! Though I forgot I already purchased the $50 one on sale but honestly glad I did because I was able to compare them. My reviews are going to be very similar though will note the differences between them as honestly I found the 72 LED bar to be the best overall vs the 102 LED also their models don't make any sense so like this is a 700A 72 Led the other is a 406D 102 LED vs the 402G 48 Led. Both of the ones I tested provided great off axis or intersection lighting (the 402G only had a single led where these had multiple or angled ones that provided all around good coverage and controls simple with a plug with on off and pattern I really didn't need another control panel though I don't think they are really needed on mini bars unless it has TA feature and want to make sure its going in right directionSo this light we got in Green/Amber to test personally though I have the permits and creds to run other colors really didn't like the options available Personally find white lights to be blinding in certain weather conditions and even with emergency vehicles when stopped white lights are supposed to be shut off also we don't run white or clear to the rear because it can be blinding to drivers or cause an issue. Also even though I have full lights and siren in my POV I wanted something I could use for other times like stopping to assist someone broke down. But do wish that they did offer a better selection on solid colors as in this bar its either solid amber or solid white all others was a mix though I personally can run green tech its a reserved color and people should look up their local/state laws as in a lot though not enforced as it used to be like Amber White is tech no go. Because of lack of options is why I deducted a star as besides the amber I reallt can't recommend to anyone I work with or even say the new on call FF that might not have budget for lights as they can only run solid red bars. This being said I honestly like this bar way better than the one with more LEDs thats offered by this company. So I got this light little over 2 months ago and have had both on my truck waiting to try them in various conditions (if you have ever ran waring lights you will know in various weather you can have various effects). With this light its super bright day and night but what sets it a part from the other one is no matter rain, snow, or fog its not blindly bright the other one I found it to be too bright in Fog and Snow. I always have had concerns with cheap/affordable bars with magnetics & a reason I usually never bothered with them because many years ago people had issues well not only are these super strong they also have rubber boots or encased in rubber like material so it doesn't damage or potentially damage the vehicle. Also though not recommended will say I didn't have any issues with it moving at higher than posted HWY speeds (i am legally allowed to as long as I can control my vehicle and only when responding and safe to do so) I actually totally forgot I had these lights on my truck as I normally don't use light bars all my lights for work are mainly interior and even outside ones are hard to see (though the antenna's and dark tint sort of gives away its not a normal p/uI would highly recommend this light for use of any kind I think that it has enough leds and bright enough where other can be too bright and reflects more. My biggest suggestion though I do wish that the manufacture would have or come out with solid colors (like I mentioned though states vary but white is usually more for front and off when stopped so some FD's may not allow a R/W bars I know are allow white only front and while responding, but same with like the PD we can have Blue lights if working a detail but has to be solid as there are federal agencies that use R & B in the area) also wish someone would offer a light in purple as one of my part time jobs is working for a funeral home and its hard to find a mini bar in purple (though there is a few in white and purple tech under the law they are only supposed to use purple I think its over looked as they understand having something is better than nothing)

I ordered the amber/white strobe set to use on my personal vehicle which I often use to make safety inspections of utility sites for my company. Driving slow, stopping in or close to the road, or operating in bad weather has made me want to make my truck more visible than just having my hazard lights on. This rooftop strobe bar is an inexpensive and easy-to-deploy safety device that will hopefully give other drivers more warning when approaching my slowed or stopped truck. Just a note: States have laws governing what color lights various types of vehicles can display. Having a light bar with red and blue lights is unlawful everywhere (as far as I know) unless the vehicle is an authorized law-enforcement or emergency vehicle. Check your state’s laws before selecting the color of your strobe unit.First impressions: This strobe bar is well made. The lens is sturdy and clear, the case feels solid, and the magnetic base pads are rubber coated to help prevent marring of paint on your vehicle’s roof. The strobe unit holds fast when attached, although I did not test the 60mph claimed holding limit and drove no faster than 30mph with this light unit mounted, as I’d only be using this light while stopped or driving slowly. My light bar arrived with a small screw loose and rattling around the inside of the casing, but it does not appear to affect the use or integrity of the lights in any way. This strobe bar comes with a standard cigarette lighter plug and a cord that is long enough to plug the light in at the lighter socket on my console and run the cable back and up through a rear window in my GX with cord to spare, so the cord should be long enough for convenient cord routing in most vehicles. The control for the lights is on the back of the cigarette lighter plug, so it should stay close at hand for the driver if this unit is plugged into a front seat area lighter plug. Controlling the lights is fairly easy: One rocker switch with a pilot light acts as an ON/OFF switch. Next to it, a momentary rocker switch is used to cycle through the various lighting modes. As others have noted, one nice feature is that the strobe bar stays in the last-used lighting mode, so you won’t have to toggle through the choices each time it’s used. The one disadvantage with this control system is that you’ll either have to memorize the number of rocker switch “clicks” you’ll need to go through to get to the modes you want or click through the modes and visually check the strobe bar to see what lighting mode you’re in. Not a big deal, but something to keep in mind versus light bar systems for emergency vehicles that have control systems that let you know at a glance what light mode you’re in.These strobes are bright. Despite the small size of this unit, I have no doubt that the lights are visible from further away than my truck’s hazard lights. Better yet, I’m fairly sure this strobe unit uses less power than the truck’s hazard lights; a bonus that will save your vehicle’s battery. I’m really pleased with this strobe bar and think it’s a good value for a nicely-made product.

The strobe holds very well to the roof of my vehicle with magnets behind a soft suction cup. The suction keeps it from sliding around and prevents scratches. Although it seems to attach well to the glass sun roof using just the suction cups, the instructions say to only use it on steel, and to be sure it is cleaned first. The LEDs are very bright even in daylight. There are several patterns to choose from. One pattern flashes all the lights at one time with a current draw of only about 1A. If you were to choose a pattern that only has one LED bank lit at a time you could run it for a long while without killing your battery.
