You're reading this now because want to remove a tire from a rim whenever you please. If you've been looking around for bead breakers online, you'll see different prices. Some are just sixty bucks. Some are closer to $300. The kind you'll want to order, you can figure that out based on which type of customer you are. Here are the two main types I'm talking about:Customer #1: I need to take tires off golf carts, riding mowers, ATVs, small tractors, go karts.Customer #2: I need to take tires off any type of tractor, SUVs, pick up trucks, riding mowers, ATVs, golft carts, maybe even a tire from an 18 wheeler. If you're Customer #2, it's possible that you will need a more heavy-duty bead breaker than this one. But if you happen to be Customer #1, then this is a good tool for once in a while use. Because on our land, we have bead breakers that cost three hundred bucks and higher. We can use those on some big rig tires, actually. But couldn't really use this particular bead breaker for that. And that's perfectly fine, if you know that in advance. In other words, if you need something light-duty, you can order this one. Again, we're talking about riding mower tires, tractor tires, something for your golf cart or side by side.We were in need of a heavy duty model (the pricey one) mostly for our farm equipment and tractors. This bead breaker in particular works for just about everything else. Which includes one of the tractors. It's not super heavy, so it's not difficult to get around. I can't really say how long this one will last. Or how well it works for specific vehicle tires - just tractor tires. I'd say if you want something light-duty that also happens to be affordable, you can give this one a fair shot.

I used this to get into my 2500HD wheel to change my TPMS sensor. It was straight forward to use and took me less time than running into town and paying $15. I had to torque it pretty good and it held up well with no issues, it feels like it is built to last. I would buy it again. 5 STARS

Used it to break the beads on my truck wheels and it worked like a charm. No damage to the wheel.Gen1 ford raptor with gen3 forged aluminum standard/beadlock wheels. After finding out that most shops down here do not do beadlock wheels anymore and all the specialty shops want you to revolve around them and still pay through the nose- I took matters into my own hands. No regrets, and this tool helped me. Great value and great quality

Facing a daunting task of removing a section of tire from the bead on the 20" aluminum rims of my Explorer, I settled on this as a solution.Although a bit difficult getting the first bite on the rim, the rubber foot allowed it to grip easily without any damage to the rims and with little effort, broke the bead.I feel that this tool will come in handy over the next few years, as I hate resorting to the hammer method to do this.

Great value for this sturdy bead breaker. It worked great on my tires, connect a hydraulic pump and operate it easily. It is very heavy. Its cast iron parts look durable, seems like it can easy handle large OTR tires.Recommend!
