I'm using this to secure a motorcycle carrier on the back of my SUV. It does what it's intended to do. The components seems heavy duty (even if the paint is chipping off the U-bolt). The only trouble I had was that I didn't have a deep well socket large enough to tighten it up, so had to run to the store and get one. Carried my son's dirt bike around without a rattle. Will probably use it for the bike rack as well.

Real quick, you put this on and your hitch doesn't wiggle around. It's a little better than some for the black coating across the top/sides of the u-shaped part. It doesn't really bear weight so I wasn't preoccupied about the grade of the nuts and bolts. It'll hold. It was well packaged and got to me quick. I tried it on a 2" hitch mount. I don't know how it would work for the smaller one, no experience...

I have a drop hitch on my vehicle and it always clunks when I take off. Adding this eliminated that problem. I don't leave my ball-mount in all the time, so I can't speak to how well this withstands the weather. It is easy to mount, although it does add a little time to installing and removing the ballmount. I am happy with it though!

I put this on my hitch for my RV. To prevent our bike rack from bouncing around so much as we drive down the road. The steel is extremely thick and durable. It has a very nice black coating. It is super easy to install. I used an impact on the bolts to tighten them much quicker.

This hitch clamp currently listed at $7.99 is an exceptional value. The materials are heavy and thick providing peace of mind. The design is simple and gets the job done.I have a trailer ball hitch that has a bit of room when inserted into my Jeep's hitch. This item tightens that up and resolves the issue giving me the confidence to use my hitch and tow something further than I would otherwise.The thick rubber lip is a nice addition and helps further reduce rattles and protects paint. Truly appreciate how beefy it is.Especially at the current price I can highly recommend this quality product!

Don't expect it to look like the photo. Opened the package and the paint on the u bolt is not the quality represented in their advertisement photo. Works fine but the powder coat they advertise isn't worth the extra spend.

I installed a 6" hitch riser for a cargo rack, so now have 2 receivers that have slack, so further amplifies the problem of slack in the receiver. Used this anti-rattle hitch clamp to take the slack out of at least one of the joints. It does the trick. Knocked it down a star for overall quality of the paint on the u-bolt and metal, it appears that its already flacking off, so not sure how long it will last before it starts to corrode from raw steel being exposed. I do really like the rubber edging to protect the paint on the receiver, at least that part I can try and keep the paint looking nice. Overall happy with the product, it does what's intended, just needs better powder coating or paint on the parts so they won't corrode.
