Like other reviewer have said, the fit, color and texture aren't perfect but not terrible on 2024 MY. Best option I could find. I used a hitch bike rack weekly so it's on and off regularly. No issues.

I was skeptical due to the price and figured it'd look cheap or non OEM. I was wrong... This looks like it would have been on the car originally.. and it should have been! This will make using my bike rack so much easier.

Nein, bin nicht zufrieden. A passt das Teil nicht an meinen Y - vielleicht liegt das am Baujahr und ich habe bei der Bestellung nicht aufgepasst. B empfinden ich den Preis für so wenig Kunststoff als sehr hoch.

Way better than the OEM hitch cover. The magnet holds the cover in place nicely, even in the carwash. Very easy to remove and reinstall. Doesn't match the bumper cover *exactly* but I didn't expect it to since the car is 3 years old and the plastic is fading a bit. Still a close match either way, so it's great.

Anyone who has had the pleasure of removing the factory hitch cover on a Model Y knows it's a task you only ever want to do once. From my observations out and about, most people seem to just leave them off and otherwise never cover up the hitch after removing them for the first time. As a long time user of hitches, this is probably not the best long term plan, because hitches can also collect a ton of crap when left unused and uncovered.Enter this product. It requires some assembly before first use, that will take you all but a minute to screw in just four screws. It has a magnet that maybe feels a bit weak, but to it's defence I've had it on my car for months now and it not even so much as budged. It's super-duper easy to remove and fit back on, and it does generally fit very well. It isn't a 100% tight fit, like it will shift and move around a small bit, but it's not a big deal at all. The color match is generally pretty good too, you can't really tell it's not factory unless you really stare at it in lots of light, which no one will ever do. So far I'm really really happy with my purchase.

SOOOO much easier than prying off the factory cover on my Model Y. If you have a trailer hitch, I think this is a must have.

It’s not terrible, and a great concept. But it fits very loosely in the tow hitch, so the whole thing really relies on one magnet. It also doesn’t sit flush in the hole, so there are gaps along the side. Color doesn’t match either, but it’s not that bad. Would be great if it was just a better fit into the hitch! I wiggled it a bit and found the right way to seat it so it feels sturdier - will use it as long as it stays on

Got this because stock tow hitch cover for my 2023 MYLR would not go back on after taking off. Works perfectly and easy to remove + put on. Appreciate the rubber grommet that can be placed into the finger hold to prevent debris ingress.

In der Beschreibung steht nur das es nicht für Model Y 2023 passt, leider passt es auch nicht für ein Deutsches Model Y Baujahr 2024, die Aufnahme ist ganz anders. Sehr Schade.Ich hab die Abdeckung wieder eingepackt, man kann aber noch gut erkennen, dass die Öffnung der Aufnahme für die AHK viel zu klein ist und hier beim Model Y auch noch zusätzlich rund und nicht eckig wie bei der Abdeckung.

The hitch cover installed on the Model Y seems designed for people who will never, or rarely, use the hitch receiver. And if that's you, maybe you'll only use it once or twice a year or even less frequency, you can probably live with the cover as supplied. But there are no less than 10 clips holding it in place, it has no easy way to remove, you need 2 flat head screw drivers or special aftermarket removal tools that cost almost as much as this magnetic replacement cover. I haven't tried putting the OEM one back on, but suspect that's also frustrating to accomplish.We attach a bike rack to our hitch often several times per week during the riding months and the last thing I want to have to do is find screw drivers and fiddle around with this think, especially knowing that, eventually, I'm going to break off one or more of the clips and it won't look good or hold securely.This magnetic cover, once assembled (3 screws) easily aligns and snaps into place and looks practically OEM. I'm confident I'll eventually loose the chincy 'dust cover' hole plug, that would be my only complaint. Some sort of nicer handle/removal ring, something like that could have made this even more stylish and handy.Definitely a high recommend.
