It's not even a year that I purchased this item, had installed in my car couple months later had the same problem, took it to the mechanic, and got it diagnostic, tested and he said that this item is not good, have no signal it's been used or its not good. And now I'm having issues getting a refund from Amazon.

I ordered this as it was less than half the price of going through the dealership. Right part, same model, just not a dealership manufactured one. Super quick and easy to install and it worked great for a few weeks and shortly after the return window closed it stopped working. Numerous mechanics warned me that unless you go through and get the MAS from the dealership, it wont work and unfortunately I didn't listen. Don't waste your time/money as a month or so after installing, you'll be out needing to get another.

Was going with a cheaper option but decided to spend the extra due to the fact that it’s what the parts store recommended for my Rogue. Read previous reviews and they were correct. Doing it myself saved me the extra $100’s they were going to charge. YouTube has some great tutorials vids to guide me through it. Took a few weeks for the check engine light to go away.(about three weeks) But the car’s performance was immediate. Highly recommend

The dealership wanted $350 for an OEM part. During some research, turns out that some dealerships use Hitachi sensors as OEM. SO, before you have a dealership do this repair, save yourself some money and do it yourself. The dealership wanted $350 for the MAF and another $175 for the installation. The entire installation took less than 10 minutes and is two small screws... and the wiring connector, of course.

Received code isolating MAF sensor as not working ….was cleaned and worked …months later repeat but would not clear engine light ….ordered this Hitachi model that stated it would fit my 2017 Nissan Maxima and had two scars in plastic top and faint oil finger print on box. Fit but did not work….returned it ….unsure if defective or not right for my maxima….ordering more expensive Nissan replacement part

I installed this part on my 2018 Nissan Kicks and it works great.... Anyone who have a Phillips screw driver and 5 minutes you can do the install yourself. If your check engine light is still on you can go to Autozone and ask to clear the check engine light or you can buy an OBD2 scan tool from Amazon for $20 bucks and do it yourself. Or buy the part and have your mechanic do the install for 50 bucks or less. Finally, this brand of part was the same one already in my car.

1/2 the price of the dealer. A three year old could replace it
