Installing a ferrule onto a golf shaft with Hireko's The Ferrule Block

Golf Ferrule Installation Tool

This golf club repair tool is the easy way to install golf ferrules 3/4" onto a steel or graphite shaft. Allows for adding lead or brass tip pins for swingweighting. Then use the club head to drive the ferrule to it final position.

The top of The Ferrule Block features a counter-bored recess for the ferrule to sit without slipping and will accept all standard sized ferrules from 0.335” to oversized 0.370” iron ferrules. Once you have started the ferrule onto your golf shaft, simply push down until the shaft is seated into The Ferrule Block.

Hireko's The Ferrule Block, measurements for the tip diameters (0.335", 0.350", 0.355"T and 0.370")

More than a fast and efficient way of installing golf club ferrules onto graphite and steel golf shafts

This combination clubmaking tool also measures popular shaft tip diameters (.335”, .350”, .355” taper tip and .370”) as a quick way to identify them. This will become a permanent fixture on any golf club builder's workbench.

Useful for re-gripping a golf club

On the opposite side of The Ferrule Block, you can measure shaft butt diameters (.560”, .580”, .600” and .620”) for quick identification. This is extremely helpful for grip sizing and knowing what grip core size to purchase.

The ferule depth should be at least 1 inch. Not 3/4. I can inserted 3/4 with my fingers. They missed the point.

The product works as described. It would be better if the center hole was drilled all the way through so you could set the ferrel at the correct distance up the shaft, rather than having to use a second tool to move it up further. I drilled mine all the way through.Be sure they package it correctly when sent. My first ferrel was not in the shipping package, as the package had a hole in it and it must have fallen out. A replacement was sent promptly, but then I was requested to send the original back, of which I didn't have. Eventually I was charged for two, rather than one. So the one I have is 2x more expensive than as advertised.

I used this device when I changed out a graphite shaft on my fairway 3 wood. Works great and takes the difficulty out of placing stubborn ferrules. I'm glad I bought it.
