These bags are very sturdy! There is a warning that you should move them as little as possible once you put them in place...I didn't really follow that. I wanted to try them particularly because I have trees in a hard to water area and was hoping I could transport the bags back and further rather than connecting and hauling extra hose. Well, that's not recommended, but I did it anyway. Fully filled, I was able to pick up each bag (very heavy, mind you), place it in a wheelbarrow, then haul it and place it around each tree. Picking up the fully filled bags, I never felt once the bags would tear or break under that strain. With more sun exposure, I expect the plastic will degrade and be more brittle, as with any other plastic.Setup and instructions are easy. I did have a minor issue where one flow rate was different than the other bag, even after I checked lines and blockage. Still able to maintain flow, just at a different setting. I think these are a great option for watering at a constant rate, but preferably in a spot where you can still reach with your hose.

The material is thick strong plastic. Holds a lot of water but is very hard to move once filled. Unfortunately my hose don’t reach where my peach tree is so I thought this would work perfect for it. I filled it 4 days ago (says it’s suppose to last 7 days at lowest drip) and it worked up until today. So 4 days it worked. The ground is slightly sloped, and I have the outlet spout at the lowest point like instructions say, and the water no longer comes out. See photos, been stuck at this water level, and no water is coming out the either blue drip attachments.

I don’t yet have a new tree planted, but we plan to buy a few small ones very soon. These inflatable irrigation bags are pretty smart. They’re strong, sturdy and durable. They are made of PVC fabric and will stand up well to the outdoors. They’re also very simple; fill the bag with water, adjust how fast or slow you want the water to be dispersed, and you’re done. These would be extremely useful when you’re traveling. This is mostly for new plantings; mature trees have a deep enough root system in place, but new ones have not yet developed that strong, deep root system, and needs more frequent watering. I am happy with these.
