The original coil on the motor failed within about two months and I replaced it with this one. Seems to be a better unit as the coil itself is slightly larger. Fit right on. Not sure if the original one was always weak but this added noticeable power.

I have a Honda pressure washer that was spitting and sputtering, especially when the engine warmed up. Finally it stopped working after 10+ years. After a little research I diagnosed as a failing coil. I installed this in about 30-45 minutes and it started on the first pull and ran strong.

Worked perfectly for a 196cc southland rear tine tiller. Starts and runs good.

I am sure this product is great but didn't work for my mower. That would make it my fault so I am not giving it a bad rating. Just givine a warning that those engines have a 3rd point in the middle the magnet passes and this coil does not have that.

Great value... fit perfectly ...Installed on my 2016 predator 212.i don't have the ser.# it was painted over during camo paint job.My motor would run amazing for 15-30 minutes. Than like I turned a switch. Would bogg out and shut off. But i could immediately start it up again and it would repeat.....I tried everything!!New carb.,,new fuel lines,,,took tank apart ,broke off screen filter and drilled out the outlet for better fuel flow.Checked for arching...... checked grounds,,,, everything!!!Lastly I was told by a local mechanic. He had worked on older Hondas that had ignition coil problems that matched my motor symptoms ...Easy to install.Tools8 and 10 mm.sockets.8" extension.Needle knose plyers.Possibly Philips screwdriver. If u need to remove throttle hookups.Cables exe...1 remove air cleaner/ carb2 drain gas tank, and remove3 unplug spark plug boot4 remove flywheel cover ...5 remove ignition coil.6_ reverse steps.Bring careful to not overtighten the ignition coil bolts. Remember....its an aluminum block. An easy way to install/gap ur coil is rotate the flywheel till the coil sticks to the magnetized section. Place a piece of doubled over / folded.. note ...paper in between flywheel and coil. Snugg the bolts and rotate the flywheel making sure both gaps are = .... tighten bolts and reassemble motor.I hope I helped someone. These motors are so cheap it's not worth taking to a shop.Might as well but a nother... unless out can be fixed at home.I spent 12$ on coil and 15$ on new carb.(not needed) but funtions better than the original... 5$ on high temp fuel line.. (Not needed) but funtions better than the original... worth the$$for me.Keep in mind the local mechanic probably charges 80 - 100$ an hour.I spent 32$Took some patients. But was worth it for me.
