We have two 8 year old kitties that don’t like the taste of most supplements. This is a great option for picky cats! It was very easy to put the collar on and it fit nicely. The collar appears relatively comfortable. After putting it on, they seemed to forget they were wearing anything. Another plus is that this product has a pleasant smell, like essential oils rather than anything synthetic. Overall we’re very satisfied with ActivPhy Hip & Joint Collar and would recommend it to all fellow feline families!

My 17 year old cat had a really bad fall last week that left him immobile for a few days. With some vet visits and rehabbing him back to some independence I got this collar as a Hail Mary because he hate glucosamine treats and after wearing this for two days he’s shown so much improvement!Thank you for giving my boy a second chance at life!Pro tip! Open the packaging and let the smell dissipate for an hour before putting it on your fur baby.

I purchased this product for my 14-year-old cat because her joint has started popping when she walks, and I noticed that she's less active overall. I have a very picky cat who doesn't care for treats or anything besides her normal dry kibble. Given her proclivities, I knew drops, chews, and powders would be difficult to administer. That's why I was excited to give this collar a try. I followed another reviewer's suggestion to take it out of the bag ahead of time so that the smell had some time to dissipate.The problem came when I went to put the collar on my cat. First of all the collar is a stiff plastic that is difficult to adjust and my cat kept doing turtle neck and slipping her head through the collar as I was trying to tighten it. After several attempts that stressed the cat out, I got it snug. I let my cat go and she spent the next several minutes dashing trying to run away from the collar, and then trying to lick and groom it off of her. When that didn't work she came back up and got beside me on the bench and behaved like she was anxious. She wasn't there for a minute or two before she hid under the bed. She was acting out of it and wouldn't come to me. I decided to take the collar off and regroup, but when I tried to pull it apart, I couldn't and then I really pulled hard on it (expecting the breakaway feature to snap the collar off of her neck...but I couldn't break it. I had to get scissors and cut it off of her. So she's now traumatized, and the collar is useless now that it's cut in two.

Update after 3 months -Absolutely works! I can see a difference in my cat when the month is up. She gets much more testy and upset at things. It’s obvious she’s in pain. I’ll put a new collar on her and I see a difference within 12 hours. So thankful this is helping her so much!—So far I think this is helping. My cat wasn’t showing the “typical” signs for arthritis but she wasn’t grooming her hips anymore and kept getting matted hair. I had tried other things and they didn’t work. And adding any types of meds or drops to her food doesn’t work! She just won’t eat.So I gambled that maybe it was arthritis making it hard for her to reach that area to groom. 1 month in and she hasn’t had any additional mats. She was seemingly a bit more irritated and snappy at this at the very end of the month. Maybe she was no longer getting as much meds. I put a new one on and things seem to be back to normal.I love how convenient it is. I know she’s getting the meds without having to try to force her to take them. I wish all cat meds could be done this way.

My cat was no longer jumping around like he use to and I assumed most cats did that when they got older but I was wrong. I did some research and found this collar and figured it was worth a try and within a week my cat was not only jumping around but he has more energy is eating more, is friendly with me and my friends, and so much more! I was so surprised that it was his hips and joints that were bothering him. I highly recommend this collar!

So, my senior Maine Coon, Oliver, started acting all hesitant about jumping on the counter, and he just seemed slower overall. I tried some chews for his hips and joints, but man, he hated most of them. Plus, I'm terrible at remembering to give him a chew every day. So, I went on the hunt for something else and stumbled upon this collar. Thought I'd give it a test run for a few weeks.And you know what? It's been AMAZING. Oliver seems to be doing so much better now, and he's even back to jumping up on the counter and his cat tree like a champ. So, I'm definitely gonna reorder! Thanks for helping my baby!

Had it a week and yesterday noticed a difference. Seems to have limbered her up a bit and able to jump easier! More energetic too.

My older cat has hip issues and I have in the past been prescribed pills which are nearly impossible to get him to take. After wearing this. I’ll at for a month he is able to go up and down steps and even jump up on bed. I purchased another but he has been doing well so far, so I will save it until he starts having issues again.
