I was able to get this up and running pretty quickly. The only tricky part is mounting the control panel. I had to cut out the old panel.

After 10+ years, the burner in my outdoor firepit was completely rusted-out. This 18” replacement seems to be of high quality and so far is working great. A couple notes for future buyers:1. The inlet connection is 1/2” NPT, not 3/4” as mentioned in Description. I bought a 1/2 to 3/4 adapter for no reason.2. There are 4 mounting brackets on the bottom of the outside ring. These brackets use “blind rivets” and accept M6-1 bolts.

Images and site state it's a 3/4" gas inlet but it's actually only a 1/2"

Product description says 3/4” inlet but it is not. It’s 1/2” which was fine for me. Huge flame, I bought used in like new condition for great price

I used this kit to replace burner, valves, and ignitor in an old rusty but beloved backyard fire ring. Went from a rectangular burner configuration to this kit's round burner. Had to drill a couple holes to match the different valve and ignitor configuration, but hole saws cut through the aluminum of my fire ring easily. Had to cut the backing plate for the control valve and ignitor with a hacksaw so it would lay flat in my control box, but no problem. Had to cut a hole in the bowl to accept the ignitor, but again not a problem. All the components in the kit were surprisingly well made and all hose and wiring connections were effortless.Note that this kit does not include a flame failure valve that cuts off the propane should the flame go out. That is the valve that requires you to depress a button or hold down a knob for 30 seconds while igniting. That should be a consideration if you have kids that might turn on the gas or if you leave the fire unattended. I determined that was not a concern for my application. Also, this kit does not mix as much air with the propane as my old equipment did. That yields a more yellow flame and a bit of an increase in soot accumulation on my lava rocks. The more visible yellow flame is an aesthetic improvement, but the increased sooting is a slight detraction.

The 24" fire pit ring burner is described as having a gas inlet of 3/4". That is WRONG! It is only 1/2 so the other parts we ordered do not work. We were disappointed because our project is delayed and we have to return the other products.
