I bought this and placed it at my mineral spot in the woods.its easy to install on a pole.the block has a predrilled 1" hole in the center for mounting.now to be honest I smeared peanut butter all over it to get the deer 🦌 started but they love it.and upon research it is better for the wild life than regular salt block plus it can be mounted above the ground away from the rooters. I'd definitely recommend this product to anyone wanting to improve the health of their heard
