I noticed immediately these were quality. I also like that they are not from China. Beware of pink salt from China it often has Mercury in it.My horse love these.

They are a bit pricy but worth it. They last a long time and I see my horses on the cam licking them very often. They will sweat in the summer but still hold up okay over time. Better than a traditional salt mineral block! I have both types but the horses prefer these.

I have used pink salt blocks on ropes for years. This is the first one that has so many irregularities to it, that it get razor-sharp spikes in the surface, from where the salt breaks down with licking, but the impurities don’t, and get sharp! I am constantly scraping the points off of the licking surface. Despite this, he seems to like the taste, because he does still use it, especially after it has been smoothed out. This came in a three pack, and all three are like this.
