These Himalayan Pink salt bulbs are manufactured as an LED bulb with purest natural salt in the world encased around it. Because of this precise design, the bulb can emit a beautiful warm Amber glow. This product is patent pending. Will the salt in my salt bulb melt the salt is encased separately around the light bulb so it is protected and will not melt when turned on. Beware the light bulbs really heavy The bulbs themselves are heavier than your average light bulb due to the added salt crystals, but this difference does not affect the salt bulb's ability to work in any typical fixture setting. The weight does not make it too heavy for standard lighting. Interesting lightbulb that's filled with pink Himalayan salt. Fits in your standard outlet and emits a soft pink glow when turned on. We use these bulbs for night time reading and they are amazing. Gives a nice orange glow. It is odd at first having the pieces inside the bulb but you don’t really notice after you turn it on.Definitely recommend

Works great to help release negative ions (that’s a good thing, look it up) into the air as the salt and heat responds to humidity in the air, makes the room feel less humid and gives an aura of peace and wellbeing. Has a beautiful soft color to it. Gives a nice smell as well, not a strong smell, just “clean,” almost like sea air. Makes my bedroom look soft and glowing at night to wind down before bed, and makes the bathroom look pleasant and relaxing during a bath.

I purchased this bulb (actually two of them) for a Torchiere lamp we have in our living room. The lamp is an accent piece, and I have had a challenge finding something with a low / warm light output. These bulbs are quite soft; perhaps even a bit too low for the output. BUT! beggars can't be choosers; so as it is now, the bulb is close to what we want, and as long as it lasts a reasonable amount of time; I think we have a winner...Well, a Warm Contender. :)

They are really pretty, and I want to buy more. Unfortunately, the manufacturer or company isn't good at communicating how they can rectify the problem of bulbs not working. (As in beyond the Amazon return window and you replace a bulb to find it does not work in any "device.") Other than that risk, the lights really do make a beautiful calming glow in the room.

Love it! Very nice calming light. You can change the brightness yourself. Salt stone looks very natural. Nice addition to your bedroom, office, bathroom and backyard in the Summer. Very nice gift for your Mom, sister, friend!
