I live in north Florida. Have been through multiple hurricanes in the last few years and the sun and wind are brutal here at times. But this cover is over 4 years old and just now I think I'm going to replace it.It has held up much much longer than I thought it would. It keeps my fire pit wood dry and isn't that what it's supposed to do?After 4+ years the velcro is shot and the bottom straps are torn, but it still works! I'm ordering another very soon. Just to have a new one. It's TOUGH and if you get 4 years plus use our of it, isn't that pretty darn good value for your money??

Log pile positioned on side of my house which blocked the brunt of harsh wind elements from this cover. It lasted 2 years until a hole formed on top from water resting on it. Time to patch her up! And See if I can get another year or 2 out of it. I live in Midwest/Illinois so it saw cold temps/snow/wind/high heat etc. It saw it all- we can get multiple seasons in the same day around here! All in all it’s a decent cover. The Velcro front makes it super easy to grab the wood you needDecent but not super heavy duty so keep that in mind if you’re using it in on a wood pile that’s more exposed to harsher elements etc

I bought this to cover my 1/2 cord wood rack and keep the elements off my firewood. It was a replacement for a similar one that had succumbed to the elements (direct sun, freezing cold, rain, and squirrels). Yep, squirrels. They had decided to crawl up into the cover and use it as a tent. Anyway, the old one had developed tears and was brittle. This seems to be made of lighter (but still strong) material, is lined with waterproof material, and hopefully I will get at least two years of use from it. If not, it will not break the bank at this price point. The main thing is that it "fits" a 2'Wx4'Hx8'L wood rack full of two foot splits.

Very Plastic-like. I only hope that it lasts. The last one I bought (different brand & for a prior home) was extremely heavy-duty, almost denim-like weather proof material, but that one wasn't available any longer, so I went with this one. I was disappointed with it's lack of quality material the moment I opened it. The only reason I didn't return it was because I didn't want to deal with the hassle of returning it. It has lasted through a Michigan winter though so far.

I got this along with the KINGSO 8ft wood fire rack.It has the company brand on the front so you know which is the side.... no instructions really but it's pretty simple.I like that the two sides have clips so you can wrap them around the bottom of the rack... So if a gust of wind gets under the cover it doesn't just lift off and fly away..IT IS WATERPROOF!.I'm not quite sure why there's a dude that said it was not???We had torrential rain and sever weather here in Minnesota last night (5-24-2021) and the next morning I went out to check if there were "puddles" of water as that guy said he had.Nope..The wood was dry as the day before the rains came..My only guess would be that his wood was already damp and it was condensating maybe???I have half a cord of well seasoned wood under the tarp and it's staying dry. There are two vents near the top of the cover on each side. This is to help keep the humidity out of the wood and to keep air circulating..Honestly, as long as you have the wood off the ground a few inches, even if it gets some rain on it, the wood will be fine. Properly seasoned wood won't just suck up a night of rain. It'll maybe get damp and then the heat of the next day will evaporate that water just fine off the bark or outer portion of the wood fiber..Either way, I still like having the wood covered. We'll see if the critters keep away or if they like the extra cover protection lol.

It fits the 4x4 rack I built very nicely. And it has access built into each end…Velcro strips etc.

Not sure who this will weather over the years. It is too expensive for what it is, but it is good quality, so we bought a second one. Hope it last for several years, but I am not sure.

So I was skeptical abouts getting this cover for several reasons. 1. There are so many other similar looking covers on Amazon and there is no way of knowing which ones are just poorly made knockoffs. 2. There was no way of knowing whether the reviews were legitimate or not. Some of the pictures of the covers post online were not really that flattering. 3. I don't know if I am like most people, but my wood is not always exactly less than 24" and I often overstack the racks. So when it comes to covering them, the previous covers that I purchased either ripped from the longer pieces of wood, or just simply would not fit.In the photos, you'll see 3 racks with a different cover than this one, by Landmann. Their cover is a thicker material, but as is clearly visible in the photo, the cover doesn't fit the width with longer pieces of wood and it is not long enough to cover the full height of the rack. Then, you'll see this cover. It's large enough to cover everything.I am glad I gave these a shot. I already ordered 4, and I just reordered another 4, 1 for another wood rack and 3 to replace the Landmann covers. If over the winter the material begins to rip or degrade, I'll update this post; however, as of now they are as good as advertised.
