These can be tapped into place quite easily, but I dare you to pull one off after its been installed! I doubt you can because the grip the axle's end so tightly. This is much faster and easier than drilling a hole and installing a cotter key.

I but it to replace a Push-On Pushnut on my pellet stove and it does the job better then the original part. And it was easier to install as well.

I used this rod cap on the axle for a garbage can. I had to replace the wheels and upgraded to a thicker axle shaft. I was able to fully set this with a deadblow hammer. It has stayed in place and is still shiny several years later. I would buy this again if I needed additional caps.
