About this item

  • MULTIPLE SURFACES: The Borefast self-drilling anchors are ideal for drywall, wood and other masonry materials
  • REMOVABLE AND REUSABLE: Borefast wall anchors are removable and reusable for more convenience and value
  • RELIABLE: The wall anchors are capable of holding up to 50 pounds in drywall and 200 pounds in wood while the steel material offers sturdy reliability
  • USER FRIENDLY: The anchors' design easilly fits into common fixture holes while the aggressive threads offers a snug grip into wall materials
  • PAN HEAD: All purpose applications with project matching painted heads and common phillips drive

The Borefast Anchor & Screw in One is the best one-piece anchor for fastening into drywall and masonry materials. Borefast anchors self-drill through drywall and easily penetrate both wood and metal studs. They also fasten into concrete, brick, block, and plaster when a 3/16" hole is pre-drilled. Borefast anchors meet or exceed drywall load values versus most competing drywall anchors.

What's wonderful for sheetrock to sheetrock. Also if you want to hang something with a little bit less weight it'll also hang into the hero I'm pretty strong

I’m not sure why they changed the name of these to “bore fast” - which sounds like a derogatory nickname for a lackluster professor - but these are the same product that used to be sold under the wall-dog brand. They’re great.A single one of these screws into concrete held a 15 foot antenna mast above my roofline during a tropical storm. They work just as well as they say they do.

I’ve bought a few different brands of these types of screws but they’re all GREAT!You don’t have to go through the trouble of finding the right anchor for your drywall to then bust an unnecessary hole for the original screw to not work anymore.Just buy these and save the hassle!Make sure the thread is the correct size before buying because it may or may not be the right diameter for your project.I mainly use these for extra strength and support for shelves and picture frames with a bit more heft. I also used these to hang a long power-strip for my art/craft station.

This is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. It has been a great alternative to the awful plastic wall anchors that took forever to install and would break half of the time. These are super easy to use and extremely sturdy. I installed multiple things using these months ago and they’ve remained sturdy and strong. I’ll definitely be repurchasing these again, so long plastic anchors!!

I love these anchors--they go in easy, stick to anything and are removeable and reusable. They don't leave the damage of anchors. However, I returned these because they were slightly larger than I needed diameter wise. I had a smaller size of these and that's why I know this brand is quality.

i've used these type of screws in the past and they're very handy for fastening objects not requiring holding a lot of weight without drilling holes or using anchors. i used them for mounting towel bars.

I'm a full time handyman and contractor and I use these all the time by far the most. They grab in drywall for anything that monts to drywall without having to mess with zip-its or anchors. You can not over tighten or like a yapcon they strip out and don't hold at all. But if you get use to putting them in with a small drill or impact they work great. Like I said you got one shot at putting them in right and they will either work and hold great or you have to try again and make another hole. If they fall and you can't make another hole then the hole that's there is perfect size to try again with a screw in zip-it that holds a regular screw. I found zip its work best with the screws that they come with, not drywall screws. Anything on drywall is usually a one shot deal or you have to go bigger. But overall these screws are great I use them alot for anything you need to mount on drywall where there is no stud or only partial stud support. Where there's a stud, great, where there's not, use these. They are a bit expensive, but well worth the convenience and reliability. They also come in different sizes 1", 1 1/4", 1 1/2", 2", and 2 1/2".Mostly pan head but there are also oval head and larger style washer head ones too. The different sizes and kinds are harder to find but they make them, sometimes under different names like Wall dog, or Dewalt, etc. Ebay sellers sell bulk which is the best place to buy alot. 50c a piece on average but gor a 100 or more they come down to 23c each. Hope this helps.

These screws are quite awesome. They thread in smoothly and you can feel them cutting through the drywall paper and gypsum. I only used a hand screwdriver....no need for power tools. When they seat, they seat...don't continue to turn. I used them to mount 1"x2"s to a sheetrock wall to act as a frame for a theater screen. Worked perfect for the purpose and I have no doubt that they will stay in place indefinitely. I think they would be OK for something like a lightweight shelf for trinkets or hanging a picture (which puts the fastener in shear load) but I probably wouldn't use them for anything heavy or use them on a ceiling.

I haven't tested this by screwing it into drywall and hanging a shelf and adding weight until it fails so I don't know if it really lives up to it's 50lb in drywall claim, although it might (or might not).I've only used it on shelving and tested the brackets by trying to wobble them by hand, so my testing is far from scientific on this. But it "feels" as or more secure than using regular plastic brackets and it is VERY hassle free! No pre-drilling of holes, hammering in plugs, collapsing or losing them in the wall, etc.. Simply screw in but DON'T over-screw and strip your drywall. Also, they come out super clean and can be reused, and only leave a hole the size of a screw. Genius idea.Overall, I'm shocked this is not a more well known option for screwing into drywall! I'd love to see someone test these vs plastic anchors, toggles, etc., for strength and reliability. I feel like these are unknown, but on a big wall-to-wall shelving job where the brackets had to be certain distances from each other (and therefore off-stud), they saved me a TON of frustration.
