These prong nuts can be used in hard or soft wood as well as plastic or particle board. When installed, the tee nut sits flush with the fastened material.

These are good. Hillman is sold at the local big box stores. I needed 100 pcsexactly, so the first thing I did was count them. There were 102. All were good and worked fine.

Worked extremely well. Being so small I wasn’t sure the threads would be cut well or if the pointed parts would hold in my plywood. They threaded well and the points went into the wood and held well. I am very satisfied with the product.

Have been buying pronged tee nuts at big box stores for projects in quantities of five per package. The cost was expensive compared to buying this package on amazon. Finished up two projects with no issues using the Hillman Group pronged tee nuts with no issues. Will buy again when I need more.

I wasn't impress. It just pull out of soft wood like pine. It must be installed such that when screwed tight it is forced into the wood. That's the only way it will stay in soft wood. Maybe that's the way it is designed to operate. If so, disregard my comments.
