The most important thing to me is feeding healthy food to my dogs. In my search for help due to my oldest dog developing Canine Cognitive Disorder, I found this, but are you kidding? Corn is the first ingredient. How can you even put this on the market. I would rather purchase the clinically proven supplements for doggy cognition and feed them along with super premium food than pay this ridiculous price for crummy ingredients.

He wouldn't eat it. No matter what we did. Daughter's dog loved it.

Corn isn't even food. It's filler. I would not feed this to my dog. Corn. Really.

We love this food! It makes the dogs coats shiny and they seem to be more focused and youthful!

I saw many reviews stating that the proce was expensive however, when compared to what I was paying per 4lb bag of the previous Hill's diet, I'm actually saving a little money per pound. My dog is not a huge fan of the flavor but, small dogs can be picky eaters so, I don't think it's the food's problem. I solved this by adding a topper and he eats it just fine now. My only complaint is that I wish they had a small breed formula. Especially since smaller breeds live longer and larger breeds could eat the smaller kibble size easier than a small breed trying to break down a larger kibble when they are also known for losing teeth in their older age. It would seem logical to me to make a smaller kibble for an advanced age targeted food.As far as seeing an improvement in cognition, my old man has not been as confused lately and seems to be doing better without having to add medications. This was last ditch effort before putting him on meds and it seems to have paid off. It he loses any more teether though, I'm going to have to start running it through a blender to break up the pieces a little.Overall, I would recommend this formula and I hope that the manufacturer can see the benefits of a smaller kibble size in the very near future.

I got this from the advice of our Vet. Our 2 dogs are reaching the of age 13. I is getting more senile than the other and this is to help his brain functions. Both dogs seem to be developing differently but this dog food should help them. So far so good.
