I needed an inside circlip to replace a broken one that held the "guts" in place below the key cartridge in the steering column of a 1977 Lincoln Mark V. Every clip I found that would fit, had tiny holes for the points on the circlip tool, and I have been unable to find a tool that would fit them. Not even a local VERY experienced mechanic had one, and suggested I used a pair of pics. Unfortunately, the clip is at the bottom of a tube-like cavity, and it was impossible to get the pics in place.And then, a miracle occurred! I found this product on Amazon. Not only did the assortment contain a clip that fit my application, but all sizes have standard-sized holes that allow the use of a regular circlip tool. The clip compressed without distortion, and then expanded perfectly into the retaining grooves when released. A job I have been struggling with for a week, was completed in 30 seconds.If needed, I would buy this product again in a heartbeat.

The sizes are good to keep on my shelf but I also needed one for my Cadillac Concours Deville left rear knuckle bushing with a special aftermarket designed bushing on the top.
