I have high lifts on my jeep and these locks work beautifully. You lock them you spin them and then they’re locked and then you can’t get the high lift off great product thank you very much and great price.

Nice quality, not cheap plastic. Feels substantial, works wellIt’s for a 1/2” shaft, where as mine is 5/8”, so I used a thread reduction bushing, which I got from Amazon also. Had to buy 10. Would be interesting product upgrade if it came with one!Really happy overall

Halfway down there is a defect in the threads. I was still able to get about 10 full turns easily before binding. I took up the extra space with some washers. Other than that, it looks good and functions well.

I was looking for a long time for a way to secure my Hi-Lift jack. This is so simple and effective. I sprayed it well with a coating lubricant so that chances are slim that it would freeze up in the future. I plan to unlock it and respray on a monthly basis as well to prevent a malfunction. We'll see how it lasts over time

Replaced one of my regular hold downs with the locking version. Works great. I have mine inside my fabric Jack cover to keep the crud out.

These must have been plastic before due to the negative reviews, these are now all metal and held together with Allen screws’ height quality and it works awesome, now you don’t have to worry about tweekers swiping your jack. I used to use gun cable locks but the would rust and be a pain to get off.

I purchased this in hopes of securing my hi-lift to my vehicle. Yes it works and it seemed fine for the first month or two. Give it anymore than that in the weather and elements and the tumbler will lock up on you and rust out, and the plastic housing will become brittle and break.I basically had to bust the plastic housing off and use a pair of pliers to remove the damn lock after it failed.I called Hi-Lift and they claimed to be making an all metal version to address this problem but that was months ago.

Had one of my hi-lift chrome knobs unscrew from hitting branches and was never found again. Love the look of the black and the lock works really good. So far through one Canadian Rockies winter haven’t had any breaks or issues

UPDATE: After a year of moderate use (I probably use my jack monthly while camping) the cam has started to get loose making it hard to remove. I took the lock off entirely because I was worried one day I wouldn't be able to remove it when I really needed to. Dropping a star. I don't think my unit was defective or anything. I think it's just a super small cam lock for a pretty heavy duty job.--This knob WORKS but it's a little fiddly. I worry about the strength of the lock cam on the shaft nut. I usually torque my jack down pretty tightly because I have it mounted on a front-bumper bull-bar/winch tray. I can't really see it while driving, and it's in a bad spot if it ever fell. With this thing I felt like I didn't want to really bear down on it for fear of stripping the nut out of the locking mechanism. I do have a lock-washer, but still...
