1.Style:2 Channel

  • PC817 Optocoupler Isolation Board 2/4/8 Channel 817 Voltage Isolation Module
  • Each channel of PC817 Optocoupler Isolation Board is independent, can control different voltage at then same time
  • The jumper cap can be used to determine whether the output terminal is high potential output or low output.
  • Pack of 2 pieces, it means you will get them two SAME units in one type, not two mixed types.

Description:
It Can achieve an interface with a voltage level of 3.6-24V controlled by 3.3V or 5V. After the control terminal is connected, the controlled terminal will also be connected. Strong photoelectric isolation and anti-interference ability. Later, it can drive high-power transistors, MOS transistors, and other occasions that require high voltage driving, or directly drive low-power 24V relays to work. If it is a pulse signal, please note that the limit of 817 is below 4KHZ. For control signals greater than 4KHZ, please do not use this module as it will not work properly.
Features:
Driving Port Signal Voltage:3.6-24V
Output Port Voltage Port: 3.6-30V
The jumper cap can be used to determine whether the output terminal is high potential output or low output.
Each channel of PC817 Optocoupler Isolation Board is independent, can control different voltage at then same time
Note:
The input port is shared with GND;
The output ports are independent each other;
It is optocoupler output.V and G will be connected after input valid signa in input port.
Pack of 2 pieces, it means you will get them two SAME units in one type, not two mixed types.
Package included:
2 x PC817 Optocoupler Isolation Board(2/4/8 Channel Optional, two SAME units in one type)

You cannot use the terminal blocks for wires with ferrules -- they simply won't fit as the terminal blocks are extremely small.

I know what this is and how to use it. I built something that works very similar, and ordered this to replace it hoping to reduce EMI.However, I understand why Doug is confused and upset. The "24v in 5v out" listed in the description is 🐂 💩 . Doesn't mean a thing.On each side you have a power and ground gang for each optocouple. You must provide both ground and power to the gang for it to operate. It *should* be 5v ideal but may be 3v, I haven't tested yet.This switches the circuit on to flow on the other side. Like a relay.On the output side you have an PN junction. You can provide power to the high side, and connect to ground through your load with the other. Or ground the G pin and provide voltage through your load to the high side.Calling it a converter is misleading. Although it " technically " acts as a level converter or shifter, it doesn't GENERATE an alternative voltage. It can use a low voltage signal to switch a high voltage load. Like a relay, but faster, cooler and quiet. These are useful in devices like power supplies to keep AC Humm out of audio signals and such. They can also be used as a series of moderate current digital switches.**Upon connecting and testing this; It's an LED driver. The outputs have a built-in 3.3k resistor. Pretty useless for 'general' applications. This is a very specific device for a very specific purpose being presented as a multi-application board which it is not.I will have to short those resistors to be able to use this for my purpose. I need to provide 12v with only 330ohm resistance.I'm irritated with the poor description.

I supplied an input voltage of 24v and only got 1.5v out, not 5v as I was expecting nor was promised in the product description.
