These are perfect replacements for failed bridge rectifiers in Astron supplies. Amazing for the price, and no failures as of yet!

Worked great as replacement parts for my 35 amp astron power supply. If your linear power supply hums, then its probably a bad bridge rectifier. Replace with heavier duty ones like these 50 amp ones.

To repair a 13.6VDC /20A linear power supply I needed to replace the KBPC3510 bridge(35A) rectifier. I found the KBPC5010 (50A) as a direct substitute (with both rated at 1000VDC). [The original bridge had a shorted single diode that took down the supply.]Both bridges are physically the same size.Art ka1rx

At first I was bothered by the lack of markings, as only two of the four tabs are labeled. Then I realized that all rectifiers are laid out "pairs diagonal '. They label one tab +, so diagonal to that is the - (output). One other tab is labeled as AC, so diagonal to that is the other AC input. The large tabs make connections easy and they appear to handle even more power than they're rated for.

Rectifier works fine once I had it wired correctly. With the one side having writing and labeling the two prongs there + and AC, I had assumed it was an AC side and a DC side. Nope. Terminal pairs are diagonal.The low review on here saying it doesn't work includes a picture of it wired wrong.Anyway, now my LED lights work with my snowblower.
