Hikenture Camping Pillow Ultralight ReviewThis is the 5th or 6th camp pillow I've tried for my horse packing trips in my search for the "perfect" pillow. This one is pretty decent. It packs into a small bag, inflates easily, has a removable cover, and has a mattress strap.The inner bladder is certainly thicker than the last one I tried, so I expect that it will last longer. I also like the fact the the valve cap is easy to open, unlike some caps which seal so tightly it is a pain to get them open again.I tested this one for one night and found that I liked the "wrap around" shape of the side profile. It tucked up to my shoulders and under my head and cradled it nicely.However, like ALL of the pillows I have tried to date, this one does not offer enough lift to make my side-sleeping stretches comfortable. I'm 6.2 and have wide shoulders. None of the pillows I tested worked in this position. It's not a HUGE issue as I will simply put my fleece top or my puffy jacket under or on top to boost the height.One star off for the lack of a patch kit which was provided with most of the other pillows I've tested.It's not the cheapest option on Amazon, but given its cost, it is a good value. Especially since some of these pillows range upwards of $70!!!

This is my first inflatable camping pillow. I got tired of filling a stuff sack with clothes, because it was always uncomfortable, and I never slept well on them.I was always skeptical of inflatable pillows, because I like a nice soft pillow. So, I underinflate this when I'm using it - it allows my head to sink in a little and keeps me from wiggling off the pillow in the night. The soft t-shirt material on the top side feels nice, and the strap is stretchy enough to go around your sleeping pad, so the pillow doesn't fall off. (Never get a camping pillow without a strap!)No inflatable camping pillow is going to equal the best pillow you sleep on at home in bed, but this will do the trick on a camping trip, and you'll get a better night's sleep.

This has becomey favorite pillow. I wish the cobver could be removed for washing, but it's ok. The entire thing can be hand washed. This is the softest camp pillow I've ever used. It's inflatable, but the rubber used is soft and stretchy, which lets your head actually sink into it, which means you can get the perfect height without it becoming hard. It's easy to inflate and adjust. The strap lets it stay attached to a sleeping pad, car seat, or desk chair. This is just a very nice camp pillow and one of the most comfortable pillows I've ever used. It will be seeing a lot more use.

This inflatable camping pillow is a game-changer for outdoor trips! For comparison, I've used the Exped Lightweight pillow for many years and I love that product. This pillow is about twice the weight and, deflated for packing, twice the size of the Exped which, if you are looking for the most compact and light weight package possible is a downside. Both pillows inflate with just a few breaths and are about the same inflated size with deflation and packing being about the same. I will say, I like to add a small cloth cover to the Exped which brings them to about the same size and weight, but I also just use a t-shirt already in my pack which doesn't add anything extra.With that comparison in mind, I like this pillow. the removable cover is comfortable, and I do like the elastic strap to help hold it in place on a sleep pad. When I say it is twice the weight of the Exped, let's remember we're talking about 2.4 ounces which is not going to matter to a lot of people. One thing I look for in any inflatable is good inflation with just a few breaths, and this fits the bill. It is firm without feeling like a blow up rock and conforms nicely in a camp hammock. The size is good to you don't feel like you're going to fall off but it fits well in the head of a mummy bag.It's a good pillow. For my more extreme kits, I'll stick with my Exped, but when easy comfort is more important, I'm likely to use this instead.

This pillow is great for camping or travel. I like that the cover can be removed and washed. The cover is soft and slightly padded on one side so it makes it more comfortable like a regular pillow. The stretchy strap is also nice for going around a mattress or headrest. The strap can also be removed by unsnapping it from the pillow. You can add as much air as you like depending on how squishy you want it to be. It just needs a few breaths to fill it. If you open the valve and press the button down slightly you can reduce the air a little at a time to find the best comfort. The valve is easy to use and stops the air from coming out even if it’s open. To deflate it, you just press the button all the way down till it clicks to squeeze out the air. It’s also pretty lightweight and compact for how comfortable it is.
