These are perfect for setting up shooting targets. They are very portable and easy to assemble and use. They seem very durable and have survived being left outside for about a year or so.

The stand is very lightweight and easily adjustable to be as wide or as narrow as you'd like. 2 by 1 planks from Lowe's fit perfectly in the stand. Easily holds up my cardboard targets. The base of the stand also has holes in them so you can stake them to the ground so the wind doesn't knock them over. They are also pretty durable, at least towards stray pellets of birdshot. I would definitely buy again.

This is one well thought out piece of gear.Works perfectly. Simple to deploy and simple to get back in the box when you're done.Good value for the money. Not sure what folks are talking about where I read that the firring strips don't fit in the receivers. Nice snug fit for me and the welded in pieces inside the receiver part are somewhat spring loaded to hold the wood in nicely.I have it at its widest setting (24") and it is stable.Comes with clips and ground stakes if you need them for windy days.I'd buy this again in a heartbeat.Highly recommend this.

Adjustable target stands like this are very useful and I was happy to find this one after the manufacturer of the ones I purchased years ago evidently went out of business. It’s sturdy enough while being lightweight and compact for easy transport and storage. It’s very nice that the width is readily adjustable for different size targets and backers. The brackets that hold the 1x2 target supports have small springs to help hold the sticks securely, and at first that seemed like a nice feature. But then it quickly dawned on me that they could easily become clogged with dirt (or even ice), and then it would be difficult to insert the support sticks. The width markings are also a convenience, but they’re not accurate. To use an 18 inch target the width must be set to about 3/4 inch beyond the “18” mark; a minor complaint, but it could have been done right. Finally, the overlap between the two sections at (about) 24 inches is very short; it seems like it will work, but another inch or two would have been more confidence-inspiring and would have allowed for slightly out-of-spec targets to be used. Last, some clips to attach targets to the sticks were supplied, but were a little small to fit over a cardboard backer and 1x2 stick; a slightly larger size would make using them easier. I believe the stand is a good value for the price, but I’ll have to see how the springs hold up and work in the long run before I buy any more of the same.
