Set it up without instructions inside of three minutes and it held up well, including getting grazed twice by 12ga slugs. Slight bend to the arms after being hit, but it banged out fine with a hammer at the range.

Did great for first use. However, I was using 5-bullseye paper targets the second use and hit the lower bar when aiming at the lower left bullseye. This resulted in one bar being destroyed (see pic) and the second one warped. There do not appear to be replacement bars, so it is now limited use unless I buy a whole new unit. If you are going to buy this, use single bullseye targets only where you can stay away from aiming near the target holding bars.

Easy to build, lightweight and great for holding my targets. I would say you can only really hold targets the same size on either side and the clips are really small. But it does suit all my needs

This target stand is worth the price paid. However, one of the two horizontal arm connectors arrived with a piece of brass stuck in connector. It looks like the tap that made the screw threads broke off and stuck inside the connector. I would have returned the product but, because I needed the target stand, I was able after about 15 minutes to screw the broken piece out of the connector. I was able then to screw in the arm but the threads of both the connector and the arm were damaged and the arm doesn't fit well. I don't feel it's right to return the product now because I used it but the arm doesn't fit well and the arm is being held in place by the paper target, instead of the arm holding the target.

It worked fine when I shot targets with a rifle; but once I switched to a shotgun shooting 00 buckshot --- the target stand collapsed pretty quickly. One of the pellets might have hit the horizontal arm holding the target -- those are very thin. So, if you buy it -- use single cartridges only -- bullets or slugs.

This was a great target placement system. Unfortunately the tripod post broke while I tried to place it into the ground. However with only one prong in the ground it still worked very well.

I have never bought a target holder before, so I did not know what to expect. This was a pleasant surprise. It is well-made, easy to assemble and holds a variety of sizes of targets and disassembles easily to fit back in its original box, although I am thinking of getting a bag for it so that I can leave some of it assembled. It does have quite a few pieces that take a few minutes to assemble. The only problem I had has is that one of the thumb-screw holes was x-threaded. I contacted customer service, provided my paperwork, and they sent me a whole new holder even though I suggested they just send the defective part. The only complaint I have is that the targets are held to the metal rods with conventional paper clasps (provided), but if there is a x-wind, they tend to allow the target to slide a bit and bunch up. I think with experience I will come up with a way to prevent this, like folding the target around the upper and lower rods and then clipping them.

Works well for my purposes. Pretty basic but the price was very good it does what I need. Only complain I had is that the clips that hold the target or a bit small and not reliable. Ordered some bigger clips for a few bucks and problem fixed.

So this is not the first style of this simple target holding system I have owned. (You can see the older smaller one in some of my pictures.) This paper holder is relatively large. Standing at 3 feet tall, it can hold target papers, cardboard sheets, or cans on strings. It does take a moment to assemble. Now that being said you can attach about anything to these like "Yard/Garage sales sign".You can assemble this in many forms. This is good because if you are shooing a pistol than you may want a target that is taller. However if you are shooting a rifle from the prone you may need a short target to safety stay on the range berm.As for upgrades:The gold clips are not what this comes with. The cammo bag is also not included.A paper target folder.

This is a good product. Solid metal pieces, easy to assemble. I am going to buy larger clips, not because the existing clips don't work, but I cut up cardboard boxes to make a solid backing for my targets and I want bigger clips to hold the resulting cardboard/target assembly more solidly. This product is well worth the price.Another modification update. In order to make the stand more stable, I have put dowel rods with holes drilled in the ends between the upper and lower arms on each side to keep a consistent length for target stability and to prevent twisting when I push down on the base to get it into rocky ground. Each of the upper and lower arms, if you look closely, have a bend or hook at the end. Fit these into the drilled holes of the dowel rod and put a little duct tape over them, and you will have an extremely stable target stand.
