It has a ball bearing catch to assist in keeping it closed. 1-3/8" tall and 1-1/8" wide. Easy to install with mounting screws and pins that are included with the hardware.

Used this to secure a sliding mirror on my daughter's vanity that wouldn't stay shut. Looks girly and cute and matched the fixtures. Only complaint was shipping charge. Paid more to ship it than the product costs lol

I use these because they are solid metal with brass screws and not cheap stamped thin metal plating. The revolving latch has a detent that keeps it up or down in position. I only whish I could get these in sold black and not cheap stamped metal plating.

This product was perfect for what I needed it for. I had a split top coffee table that was prone to splitting when I didn’t want it to. I used two of these latches to secure the two sides and it hides away perfectly and prevents the top from opening when I don’t want it to.

This is an incredibly well-made clasp. It is hard to appreciate the quality until it's in your hand. I was uncertain why it appeared to be somewhat bigger and had more dimensions than the others did by simply looking at the pictureThe hook part of the clasp has a spring which allows it to spring forward and release easily. The hinges well-made and it moves smoothly.The interlocking whole is well-made and is smooth. All the metal is well machined and smoothed and filed. The plating looks excellentThis is a great hook and class if you're looking for security
