I purchased this case to replace an older, smaller version that I had bought over 10 years ago. I'd still be using the old case, but my new MacBook is a little larger than my old one, and it didn't quite fit. This new case doesn't have the "saddle bags" feature of my older case, but the zippered pouch is large enough to fit my charging cable, small mouse, external DVD drive, and USB hub. I wish the outside document pocket had a zipper instead of a velcro tab. The tab interferes with full-sized sheets of paper. However, I've been able to put my loose papers in an 11x13 envelope and store them in the computer compartment. The reinforced lap area really helps if I don't have a flat surface on which to place my laptop. The handle and shoulder strap make transporting my computer easy!

Love this case! I have a 15" Macbook Pro (old style) and it fits great. The sides are super sturdy and I get a lot of compliments on the color. I use the front zippered pocket for a mouse and the charger cords with some room left over. The front open pocket can hold some papers, but for thicker items I usually place them on top of my laptop inside the case.The Only complaint is the grips under the laptop are really sticky. Usually not a problem, but the laptop sometimes needs adjusting to center it. Pulling the laptop from the sticky grips pulls on the hard case (which has feet) :/ So I just make sure that I'm holding onto all the parts as I lift the laptop up.otherwise - Love this case :)

I really love the fact that not only is this case great to transport and protect my laptop, but it's wonderful to work right out of because of the cooldeck with the non-slip risers. I love the additional storage for cords and other items as well. The only downer is the case in the photo is shown with a nice rubber-reinforced handle, and mine is just a soft and flexible strap. Still, an awesome case for the price. 4.5 stars

This laptop case is compact yet outsde pocket large enough to hold power cord and other small items. Inside sleeve holds mouse, dvds, etc. There is also about an inch of free space inside the case that will hold some files or books. I also bought the optional backpack straps to have the option of carrying either way. Well made and good looking.
