I build my wife a 44" windmill clock for our anniversary. This mechanism was the perfect size. I was concerned how long the single aa battery would last so I bought a d cell battery holder and a dummy aa cell to power it with. FYI, I tried to solder the wires for the d cell holder to the tabs in the clock mechanism. Tried everything I knew and couldn't get solder to stick to it. Idk what kind of metal it is but it will not take solder.

I needed a replacement for my HUUUUGE 2 meter diameter wall clock. I did hours and hours of research into cheaper alternatives and was able to find long hands ones, but they are all CLICKERS. This one, however, specifically said it is silent sweep, and indeed it is. Very silent, no jerking hand moves, quietly sweeping across the huge clock face. The hands from this pack are long enough, and are made of aluminum. To drive such heavy hands, the mechanism has to be strong enough, and indeed it is. Glad I went for the higher price option and avoided many headaches on returning hands that are either too short or too loud. The only downside for this unit is the shipping could be faster.

I bought a clock on the facebook market place that didn’t work. So I got this and fixed it. Now it works great.

We received this and found it missing a part. We contacted them and it was sent out to us immediately. Excellent customer service. The product worked perfectly in an old clock.

It didn’t work when I first installed it. Took it apart and found a gear out of place. Got it back together and it worked for about 45 minutes. The power cut out with a new battery. I made sure all the contact were tight and in place. It started working again. Lasted about 8 hours and shut down again. I went through the same process to get it working and reinstalled it.Thinking I may have just gotten a bad apple. But I’ll be purchasing a different for my clock as it needs to be reliable.

My clock got damaged while moving. These hands are finally big enough after using smaller, louder replacement hands. The motor is truly silent.
