One can was fine. 2nd can did not mix well( no bead inside to help mix) and very difficult to press button to try to spray properly.

My husband restored an Antique Parlor Stove and we chose this color to use on it. The paint went on nicely and it held up to the heat when we lit the stove and let it burn for a while.

I used less then half the can before it ran out of aerosol. It came out in sputters when it did work, throwing small gobs of paint.

Spray painted a Chiminea. Looked great for about a month. Then the sun (have not had any rain) started to fade the paint. Never even lit the chininea, so it was not from that heat. Now the chiminea is a mess with the original clay color and part blue color here and there. Waste of money!!!

What I like about stove bright paint is that I successfully achieved a smooth finish without drips and paint spray bursts from the can. I just made sure I shook the can a lot before use - did 4 light coats waiting at least ten minutes in between. I used one entire can for my metal fireplace face, and that was enough paint. It was a relatively inexpensive upgrade, even though shipping made one bottle almost $30. I uploaded some pictures because when searching for stove bright paint, I couldn’t find any finished results to help me choose a color. Sometimes phone camera colors are inaccurate so I will describe the paint color Sky Blue by saying it is a cool grey with blue undertones. I find it to be contemporary, clean, bright but not obtrusive, a subtle blue that fits softly into the background thanks to so much grey in it. It is an iron blue. Not a light color, more a medium hue. The paint can never clogged up on me, and I’m glad there was enough for my project. The only thing I would’ve done differently if I had known, was I would have primed it first to achieve a smoother finish, or perhaps I should have cleaned it better during prep. At times depending on the light my paint job looks a little blotchy, although from what I’ve read if I had used a heat resistant base primer before applying the paint I would’ve achieved a smoother look. That being said the only person that seems to notice the blotchiness is myself. In all, it is much cheerier and cleaner looking then the scratched up 25 year old black metal face it used to be. I like it.
