It works flawlessly. Desoldering made easy

The suction power is good. I like the size. However, the solder metal sticks to the "main pin", and I have to disassemble it after 3–5 operations. Sometimes the solder is pushed out OK, sometimes it does not come out all the way and I have to pull it manually. But it is worse when the metal sticks to the pin - you cannot push it through and have to unscrew the front part and remove the metal from the pin. Also, after 20–30 uses you have to completely disassemble it, and clean the soldering metal from the piston.

I believe the overall experience is good, but this de soldering pump is considerably more hard to use than others. Maybe it's good for a big man with bigger hands but for weakness hands that the mines is initially difficult to handle. By the way, nothing that can't cure two or three drops of oil. And a little bit of practice with this tool and can handle it well. At the end, I need to use both hands when work with this desoldering pump. I believe was a good purchase.

My prior solder sucker (from the 70s) was a larger one with a trigger (lever) lower towards the tip. It took a few tries to become accustom to pushing the top, side button on this one. I like that the KeenWise has a smaller suction tube/opening. That smallness is much better for working on todays packed PCBs. Also, I'd think it creates greater suction over that smaller area.

Had high hopes. Like a typical guy, I thought bigger must be better. Maybe it’s not a size issue but simply not the best design. Either way, doesn’t work well (for me at least). I’ve been (de)soldering stuff over 40 years so I’m pretty sure it’s not my skills that are at issue. Am actually having the crazy thought of spending the money for an electrical one made by Hako. All the videos I’ve seen of its performance are nothing short of mouthwatering. This item has a decent heft to it but isn’t functionally useful so will likely wind up in the trash. Shame. I had high hopes I might have finally found a manual pump that actually worked most of the time.

Je préfèrerais l'ancien que j'avais. Celui-ci avec la buse en silicone , lors du retrait d'une soudure , il ne faut vraiment pas bouger pcq cette dernière étant molle cherche à dévier ce qui rend difficile à relâcher le piston.

Wanted to try this desolder cleaning tool for a long time, and finally pulled the trigger. Really like the compact form factor and the silicone tip, that helps a lot to really clean those hard solder spots. The extra silicone tubing is a nice addition.

The spare silicone tubes were not in the package. Returns by UPS drop off or pay own shipping. I have no access to a UPS drop off in my area. VERY angry!!

Bought this solder sucker because my old one was acting up. The build is pretty solid, made of metal instead of plastic like my old one. It's more compact so less storage space on my workstation.I am a bit weary about the tip, though. It's meant to be swapped out, comes with a rubber tube you cut and change. My old one had a tough plastic tip that could take the heat from a soldering iron or heat gun... Not sure how well this will hold up. Only time will tellHad to get a replacement on the first one i got, it showed up with scratches and scuffs. The replacement, though, is great.
