We had a fuel pump failing in this Malibu despite it being fairly late-model, well, I guess 6 years now, and without sufficient pressure the OBD was throwing a bunch of odd codes and there were hesitations and bad performance under load and general malaise. I was happy to find this one and happier still when it was a good seal to the fuel rail to hold the pressure high. Now the car is running like it's new and this fuel pump is holding steady at high pressure and good seal.
