If reasonably priced, these are a very acceptable substitute for the disposable counting slides that are used in the Countess machine. They work just as well, fit into the slide holder without issue, and have the same capillary action that allows you to count with just 10uL of cell suspension.

These are hemocytometer cell counter slides used in a machine to count blood cells. They have a well in the slide for liquid (blood) and the cover goes over the slide and technically is then inserted into the machine for counting cells. They can also be used manually for purposes otherthan counting blood cells with a machine. Can be used to view living microorganisms growing in water or other solutions with a microscope. Useful for home schooling science projects. Individually packaged and disposable.
