I was extremely happy with this 16 ga speaker wire. Contrary to other reviews, I found this product very easy to work with (sufficiently flexible). The heavy clear jacket protected the copper strands inside and the bold red stripe along one side made connections a breeze - even for my old eyes.

I purchased this wire to replace the old thin gauge I was previously using, and I must say it feels and looks much higher quality than I was expecting. Very easy to cut and position (although it is stiff, my previous was flimsy so I like this better). Plenty of stands, and appers to be as advertised OFC. I am not an expert nor do I have the tools to test for this but as a novice user I'm pretty satisfied with the wire, 50ft was plenty for my use of it.

These speaker wires seem to work great (I used AWG 16). I used them to hook up cheap-o Polk Audio speakers (the T-series), to an entry-level Pioneer AV-receiver (VSX-LX103 Elite). I've never done anything like this before, and in my experience I found the wires to be very easy to strip using a cheap (but quite nice) wire stripper from the hardware store. I also found the wire very easy to twist prior to inserting into banana plugs for insertion into the back of the AV-receiver, or for insertion into the plugs at the back of the Polk Audio speakers (which did not accept banana plugs). The red stripe on the outside of the wire was very useful to ensure that I was keeping the correct polarity, and I also found the wire surprisingly flexible. Finally, the sound from the system that I set up is very, very good, and I don't hear any interference at all, even though there is a lot of other electrical wires touching and/or very, very close to the speaker wires at the back of the TV. I can only conclude that this speaker wire is really quite good, and the price seems fair (I paid $15 for 50 feet).
