Ethanol, one of the main alcohols, is a fundamental raw material in manufacturing a wide variety of chemical products. It can be made from molasses by fermentation or ethylene by hydration. In the transfer hydrogenation of carbonyl compounds in the presence of sodium hydroxide, it serves both as a source of hydrogen and as a reaction medium. Anhydrous solvents have very low water content and leave a minimal residue.

For travel, I take fold some paper towels and add this to them in a large zip-lock bag. Works great for wiping down and sanitizing grimy surfaces.

Spoke to the manufacturer manufacturer says they don't classify it as a alcohol for perfume but anybody that makes perfume knows that 200% ethanol 40-b denatured can be used in perfumes they only advertise it as a cleaning agent same thing it can clean and it can do perfume but the fact that they're unable to say that it could be used in perfume makes me wonder what is inside this stuff I don't trust the product and I will no longer be buying this product.

If you are a perfume maker then this is a must. It got delivered today and I made a small batches of perfumes and it holds the fragrance very well. Even though after adding fragrance you have to wait a few weeks to test I decided to spray this an wow my perfumes smell amazing. I will definitely be stacking up on this. Highly recommend

I needed absolute alcohol for a procedure and the only concern was the denaturing agent/smell. Not a problem. Worth every penny.

I use the 99.5% Denatured Ethyl Alcohol for cleaning my resin prints and the printer itself. This product lets me clean up with much less smell than Isopropyl Alcohol.

Avoid alcohols for perfumery that are denatured with tert-butyl. Tert-Butyl is easily toxic when inhaled or injested. It's less toxic on the skin, but perfume being aruroma particles that are air born, you may be susceptible to injest it when sprayed.Be safe when playing with chemicals and fragrances. It works perfect to disinfect and clean.
