The arrival of the item had a bit of delay to it, so thought it wasn’t arriving and ordered one more due to this, but it was ok. Upon receiving it, tried to charge it for several hours first in hope that it would be able to be used wirelessly, however that did not seem to be the case, so had to return it. It is also bigger than what it illustrated.If you are somebody that is okay with having it connected in order to use it, maybe it’s an okay purchase, as I didn’t get to set it up with the app or anything, I can’t tell how that part works.Contacted their support about it and that’s why it is getting a 5*, because they are very nice and fast and tried to help with instructions almost immediately.

Here are the reasons why I do not like this camera:1. The instructions are difficult to understand in English. Terms like “Key payment” and “Dial payment” made no sense to me. See attached a scan of the English instructions.2. When you download the app on an iPhone, it will charge your wallet account $1.3. Every time the app opens, it presents a full-screen advertisement. The words, “Continue to app,” are needlessly small. See screenshot. Side Story: As I was first setting this up, the first ad that displayed showed a large button with the caption, “FINAL STEP.” So naturally, I thought it was part of the app setup. I clicked it, and the link took me to some other company’s product page instead. Very confusing.4. On the camera, the two buttons are indistinguishable from each other and they have no labels. The manual does not have a diagram. I eventually figured it out by trial and error.5. The setup required me to create a user account. Maybe that is normal, but it made me uncomfortable giving out my email address to yet another company when I already have so much SPAM coming into my Inbox.6. The setup requires a 2.4G Wi-Fi. That is very specific. I have a 5G connection, but it has lower connections available, so I managed to get through this. If you do not have that specific Wi-Fi speed, then this camera will not work for you.7. IT ONLY WORKS WHEN PLUGGED IN: At first, I was puzzled as to why I could only power the camera ON when it was plugged into a USB port. At the bottom of the instructions, it says, “Ensure that the power supply is sufficient and the power supply is connected.” That is a deal-breaker for me. The fact that this camera only works when it is plugged in makes it practically useless. The cord is only around 3 feet.8. It is difficult to pair. If you unplug the camera, you may have to go through the process of pairing it again.9. No night vision. When it is dark, the image is black. Even if you have night lights in the room, the picture will still be black.10. The image quality is fair. The video quality has a low frame rate, so the video appears "jerky."On a positive note, when it does work (plugged in and recognized by the app), the picture quality is acceptable as long as the lights are on. It does detect motion and it does send an alert to the app.

Absolute junk. Out of the box, doesn’t turn on. Instructions are an attempt at English and horrible. The app is just as bad. Don’t buy.

A good little mini camera. Got it to keep watch on the front garden, and it works well. Setup wasn't too difficult, the included instructions went through it easily, and it only took 5 minutes. Video quality is good, and the connection is stable, even 10m away from the router! Cloud and local means you can choose whatever is best for you. Recommended!
