This "camera detector" goes off at such a wide variety of innocuous items as to render it basically useless. I was using it around my apartment, mind you I live in a new building, and the device went off in 4 places in the living room, 3 places in the kitchen, my bed frame, the vents, and a bunch of other places in the apartment. Some of the places make sense like the window frames and where my modem is located but many of the places it went off, on the low setting, made no sense at all. After spending a bunch of time looking for what was setting it off I finally had to take a break as it's more anxiety provoking to try to use the device than to just wonder. I'm not sure how this has such good ratings except on the basis of how this "should work in theory" because even on the lowest setting it's way over zealous.

I travel for work a lot and after hearing some horror stories about hidden cameras in hotel rooms, I decided to get it. I’ve been carrying it with me for a while now, and I have to say, it’s really helped ease my mind. It’s super small and fits right in my bag. The first time I used it, I walked around the room and immediately got a signal detection. It turned out to be from my phone, but it was still reassuring to know the device works. I also tried the camera lens detection mode, and it picked up nothing, so I felt even better. It’s easy to use, and I love that it’s rechargeable.

The first time I used it, it was a little overzealous, picking up signals from things like my phone and Wi-Fi routers, but after adjusting the sensitivity, it worked perfectly. The modes are pretty straightforward to use, and I really like how portable it is. The battery life is decent, and I haven't had to charge it frequently. It’s comforting to know that this device can help spot hidden cameras or other tracking devices.

It’s compact, so I can toss it in my bag without it taking up space, and I’ve used it a couple of times already. The detection modes are simple to switch between, and it really picks up signals when I’m scanning for hidden devices. I love that it works with RF signals and even detects pinhole cameras, which makes me feel much safer. I also like how portable it is, so I can take it anywhere, even to places like bathrooms or locker rooms, where privacy can be a concern. For the price, it seems pretty reliable, and the battery lasts a good while.

I’ve used it a few times at hotels and even in office spaces, and it has been great at picking up unusual signals. I like how it has several modes to help detect different things: magnetic fields, wireless signals, and hidden cameras. The camera lens detection mode is spot on—it even helped me identify a few unusual reflections in mirrors. I can easily adjust that with the sensitivity settings.

This is a cool and interesting tool. It is compact, and seems sturdy and well-made. The red filter slides up and down easily and securely. It is easy to switch between the different modes, those being the wireless detection mode, GPS magnetic detection, red light, and flashlight. The power button is pressed longer to turn it on and off, while a short press of that power button switches between the audible tone, or a quiet vibration mode. I think this device works as well as one could hope, as it does detect my wireless devices, and changing the sensitivity does change how near or far away it will detect those devices. I find it somewhat difficult to use the red filter to detect camera lenses, but I don’t think that is specific to this device, rather it is a somewhat crude method to detect camera lenses, which will require more practice to get better at differentiating between a lens and other reflections. I think this device is well made and is functioning well. I also like that it is rechargeable. I am very pleased with this unit.

This little device gives me a bit more peace of mind. It’s compact enough to throw in my bag, and I’ve used it a couple of times in different hotels I’ve stayed at. It’s really easy to use—just switch between the modes and scan the area for any signs of hidden surveillance. It doesn’t pick up a lot of random signals, which is a plus, and when it does find something, the blinking lights and sound really let you know. I also like the rechargeable battery; I don’t have to keep swapping out batteries, which is convenient.

I purchased this item because it was highly affordable compared to other items with same features. This item is rechargeable and comes with a USB-A to USB-C charging cable and will take any 5V charger to charge. It has Antenna and sensitivity control feature. The viewfinder has features with very high scope of application like detecting if your car or office is installed with wireless eavesdropping device, detects gps tracker. The manual is very readable compared to other generic ones . Highly recommended for anyone who is looking for least expensive reliable hidden camera detector.
