Installation Tip - Reverse Polarity
If you install your HID bulb and they do not turn on, you may have a reverse polarity issues. What this means is the power and ground wires of your vehicle's stock harness are reversed. What you will have to do is rotate the oval connecter on the ballast by 180 degrees in order to reverse the orientation of the plug.

These worked great for my morimoto headlights on my truck. Plugged right into my ballast with no issues. About 4x cheaper than buying a bulb thru moritmoto's website.

I've been using the Innovitive bulbs and ballasts for 5 years now in several vehicles. They've been dead nuts reliable, and the color ratings are correct. IMO 5000k for best visibility, 8000k looks good, at the cost of less visibility. I have found that like all HID bulbs, they fade out over time. These may fade quicker than a Phillips, so for optimal performance, I'd say replace every year or so. I went 2.5 years, and did not realize it, but the output was way down. A set of new bulbs and it's back to bright again, at a very low price. I'm on a budget and 100% satisfied with this product!

Had a decent set of quality HID I purchased but had a bulb go out after a few years of service. No problem but I was going out of town and these would arrive sooner than the original replacements. So I ordered these and installation was a breeze since I already had HID wiring installed. Only problem is these flicker a lot as to where my old ones never did. Not as bright either even though it was the same wiring and light temperature. But they still both work a year later.
