We took our then 6-year-old on a big international trip to Southeast Asia, and let me tell you, this hiccapop UberBoost inflatable booster seat was an absolute lifesaver. Navigating different transportation options in a foreign country can be tricky, especially with a kid, and lugging a bulky car seat around was just not an option.This thing is genius! It inflates in seconds, and deflates just as quickly, rolling up super small. We packed it in our backpack, and it took up almost no space. It was perfect for taxis, ride-shares, and even those random car rides we needed to take.Safety was my biggest concern, of course, but it's certified safe and felt really sturdy. The non-skid base kept it in place, and the positioning clips ensured the seatbelt fit properly. My son said it was super comfy, which is a huge bonus on long rides.Honestly, it took a lot of stress out of our travel days. No more worrying about car seat availability or safety. It was so easy to use, and it gave us peace of mind knowing our son was secure.If you're planning any kind of travel with a young child, especially internationally, this inflatable booster seat is a must-have. Pros: Convenient for travel. Fits in luggage. Comes with a carrying case. Lightweight. Easy and fast to inflate, as well as to deflate. Bladder inside feels durable. It came w/ a patch kit as well. Outer cover is removable and can be thrown in the wash. Doesn't take up as much space as a regular booster seat does.Cons: So far nothing yet.

Got these over another brand because the weight limit was higher on this, washable, and perfectly compact.Super, super easy to blow-up!! While standing by the car in the airport arrivals lane, we got the kids in the car, luggage in the trunk, then got these out to inflate.You literally just cover the opening with your mouth, inflate, then push the plug in. No need to "pinch" the valve or anything, and you cover the opening just like you would to give CPR.Letting the air out was easy too! Simply un-plug the plug, and push inwards on the mouth valve.The whole time we were in the airport arrival lane was only about 3 minutes. So, the booster seats were a life saver for time and east!Worked great, never lost air, and were easy to use!

Kids 6 and 8 were comfortable , secure, stable and seemed very safe. Loved how easy to move between cars, and fit beautifully in a not very roomy back seat of a Subaru Legacy wagon with three across, including a narrow regular car seat. Summer with temps in low 100’s, so just to be safe, I had the kids let a little air out when parked outside, and they were great at reinflating independently each time. They needed help buckling and getting strap in second white buckle. Worked great! So light and portable, but very well made and strong. Love the no-slip bottom and the bucket seat-type shape that made it such a comfortable ride for them.

My daughter is attends a private school that requires her to be picked up and dropped off via a transportation van, instead of a school bus. Because the drivers and vans alternate, she has to keep her booster seat with her at school. Lugging around a "typical" booster, even after switching to backless, is cumbersome - especially for a tiny 7 year old!The hiccappop UberBoost inflatable booster seemed like such a perfect solution that initially I felt like it was almost too good to be true. I did a ton of research to assure myself that it was a legitimate, safe product, and finally purchased one last weekend. It arrived overnight, and we were immediately able to put it to the test, as we were going to visit family over an hour away.It was simple to inflate, and is placed in the backseat of the vehicle like any other booster. After my daughter sat onto the UberBoost, I fed the lap part of the seatbelt through the guides on the left and right of the booster seat, and then used the shoulder belt adjustment strap to keep the shoulder belt away from my daughter's face and neck, and into correct placement over her shoulder.The adjustment strap was the only slightly confusing part of installing the seat - one side of the strap needs to be secured via a tight slip knot around one of the back loops of the booster seat. It took me a minute to realize that I had to use the loop located on the same side as where the child is sitting. So, if your child is seated on the right side of the car, it would be knotted through the right loop, if they're seated on the left side of the car, it would be knotted through the left loop.Once the adjustment strap loop is secured to the seat, you bring the other end of the strap up and attach the plastic buckle to the seatbelt, adjusting the clip/belt downwards, and firmly snap the buckle closed around the seatbelt.It was absolutely simple, and according to my daughter, extremely comfortable, "Like sitting on air..get it, Mom? Cuz you used air to blow it up?" We were traveling via Uber, so I was able to sit next to her in the backseat and observe. The UberBoost performs exactly like any other booster seat, it's just more compact and lightweight.We've only had it for a week now, but she's used it to travel over the weekend (and hour ride each way) and to and from school. She loves that she can deflate her seat upon arriving at school and keep it tucked away in her backpack until the end of the school day. Then it's simple to reinflate to use for the ride home.This is an absolutely wonderful product. It's safe, easy to use and is a perfect solution for anyone who uses multiple vehicles.
