The spring electric fence connectors are great. They are easy to attach and make the gate location very easy to see. I highly recommend these.

Two of the four don’t spring back to their original size, they stretched out permanently the first time using across a 14’ opening. The other two work okay.

I cross fenced my cattle pasture and left gaps for gates on either end of the fence. However after spending all the money on fence posts, wire, etc,. I really didn’t feel like spending hundreds more on gates. These electric spring gates are a great alternative and they work nearly as good as a steel gate in terms of containing cows. They are easy to put up and once the cows get (harmlessly) zapped on the nose a time or two they don’t press the issue. I wouldn’t use these for perimeter gates, but they work great to contain the animals to one part of the property and they are easy to open and close when it’s time to move the animals. All gates and fences are largely a state of mind for cattle and none of the traditional options are perfect, but these electric gates do a great job containing happy cows and bulls. I have no plans to replace these with metal gates because they are working so well and I have no need to worry about repairing sagging hinges (as inevitably happens with metal gates).

These are a set of 4 heavy duty springs with insulated plastic handles and all the needed installation parts! I am installing an electric fence for the first time and I was worried about what could be done to add a safe gate. These solve the problem and are very affordable. I will update this review if there is an issue with installation, but they look simple and easy to install once the posts are there. I have added a photo with a pen for size comparison. The springs are very large!
