HIC Roasting’s Tempered Glass Turkey Baster helps roast all types of food to perfection. From poultry to pork, beef, game, and fish, even vegetables, basting helps foods cook to a golden brown outside and remain moist and juicy inside. It’s the ideal cooking technique for roasting, grilling, rotisserie, and other slow cooking methods where food is exposed to heat for prolonged periods of time. This Tempered Glass Baster is specially designed for comfortable use and easy cleanup. The durable tempered glass tube resists shock and breakage, and features easy-to-read 0.5-ounce increments for precise measuring. The silicone squeeze bulb with safety grip helps keep fingers away from heat and allows for a secure grip. Its powerful suction won’t leave a drop of flavor behind. Easy to use, simply squeeze the silicone bulb and submerge the tip of the tube into the basting liquid. Slowly release the bulb to draw in liquid. Position baster over the food and slowly squeeze the bulb to release the liquid. For best results, warm the glass tube under hot water before basting. The tube comfortably holds 2-ounces of broth, stock, au jus, marinade, glaze and more. For juicy baked chicken and cooking turkey and other oven roasted poultry, use a mixture of melted butter and wine, or cider. Baste oven roasted meats with their own juices or use a marinade sauce or BBQ marinade for steaks on the grill for tenderizing meat, to keep moisture in and maximize flavor. Baste spiral ham, apples, or baby carrots with a glaze or make honey glazed salmon. It also works nicely for siphoning liquids from sauces for a thicker consistency and fat drippings from roasting pans for low-calorie meals and healthy cooking. It works exactly as advertised, and it has a BIG capacity for liquid. It's not plastic, so there's no chemicals leaching off of it and into my food. Outstanding product. I use it for all kinds of purposes. With that said, the tip leaks, so you have to account for that. But I would buy it again.

Well made with the advantage of being made with high tensile, non toxic and easy to clean glass instead of plastic and functions perfectly. Best of all it is made in Taiwan not China

Really good quality Turkey Baster. It is larger than anticipated but overall I’m happy with the purchase.Shipping did take quite a long time though. It seemed to move through every step much slower than other items I’d purchased around the same time.

A good consistent pull of 45 ml of water. The top can pull in some water. The top is removable and a good quality silicone rubber. Totally hand washable.

Nice kitchen tool, that worked well for as long as it remained intact. That it was ultimately dropped is likely an unavoidable reality, but it did its job in the meantime, and was as easy to clean as could be imagined for a device with a hole that small in one end. Happily, it fared well in the dishwasher, so the small opening at the business end didn't present a problem. The flat edges flared from the bulb were a nice touch, as well, making it easy to lay the baster down without worrying about it rolling off the counter. Without the bulb, however, disaster beckoned.

This blaster is exactly what I was looking for and performs wonderfully!It is glass so you can transfer hot oils.It does not drip so you can transfer liquid between containers without making a mess.It holds a decent amount of liquid which is great.It has a fine tip which draws up liquid very smoothly and does not easily clog (in fact I have yet to get a clog or even resistance while drawing up liquids)The glass seems nice and sturdy, so I don't have to worry about being super careful while handling it.The bulb does not smell of chemicalsThe bulb has a nice ridge that locks the tip in place and ensures a great sealA baster is such a simple device I never thought it would have been so hard to find one that I works well. I have been looking for a functional glass baster for a while and have been disappointed with all the others I have tried. I willI will be buying more of these just to have extras around.Mine came in yellow though I could care less about the color so long as it works.
