This piece of junk worked for only a few minutes then burned out every light on my 150cc GY6. Spend a few bucks more and buy one from anyplace but China!

Didn't work for me.ordered another as it could be partly my fault.there are ac and dc.if the lights come on when you turn the key you need dc.i think?still cheaper to burn a few learning than to pay hundred bucks for in shop repair. Happy enough for the price.ps.you can go with bad one but you'll need to charge battery.most things will run but not start without em.

Puts out between 13.8 and 14.0 V depending on RPM. A tad low, but every other regulator I had was overcharging batteries, so this is perfect. Regulation is great too, voltage hardly changes based on input (which is exactly how it should work).
