It is 1/8" ball diameter. .130 actually. Clamping it in a vise and pulling sideways, it failed at about 30 pounds.

Measures out at 3/32" not 1/8th, As a result it makes for a sloppy fit for what I wanted it for; neck chains for my pendants.

Perfect to fix toilet flappers, light pulls, fan pulls and mostly make necklaces for the kids our of whatever they decide they want one made from. Stainless steel is the only way to go and this was reasonably priced. Should be a staple of handy men and crafters everywhere.
