Does your C.O. demand perfection? Has your drill sergeant made demeaning comments about the state of your formal uniform? Have you been recently diagnosed with a mental difference that forces you to commit acts of perfection in your day to day life? These shirt stays not only keep the troops looking as dapper as ever by keeping those socks up high and those shirts tucked deeper than you might like, they also give a nice 'pressed' look to your day-to-day outfits. No more untucked shirts for this guy. My outfit is so spring loaded with these Shirt Stays I couldn't untuck my shirt even if I tried. Watch in amusement in the barracks as your comrade tries to untuck your shirt only to have it snap back in place faster than you can say "discharged for inappropriate behavior towards your fellow armed service member". Seriously, DON'T undress one another... On a related note, these are not good for dates / occasions where you want to get your clothes off as fast as possible.Seriously, if you like to have a neat and tidy look about you, these shirt stays are for you. They work with uniforms, suits, and semi-formal dress. My dad made a point to say that my shirts look pressed when I use them.

I like these better than my older ones since these simply clip to your shirt and socks. I have had others that are a different style that have damaged my shirts, I'll try to explain...my old ones have a metal horseshoe looking piece of metal and then a rubber stopper. So the metal goes on the outside of the shirt and you push the stopper through the ring and they hold your shirt. The problem with that style is that if you are like me and use these everyday then they start to tear your shirts where the stopper makes contact with the shirt. I hope that wasn't too confusing. If you have used the old style then you will know what I mean.Overall they are very nice. My old style would occasionally release from the shirt and it's quite embarrassing when you have a black shirt stay hanging out the bottom of your pants. These stay clasped until you take them off. One thing I will say is that the metal part of these have started to rust a little. I wear them all day and don't always just sit behind a desk so my legs do sweat at times. Not the fault of the product really but wanted to add that in.

So, I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints . You may have noticed us before: guys in white shirts and ties with Black tags on, riding bikes and helping old ladies bring in their groceries, talking to people about important stuff. Loved every second, but I have a problem that a lot of bigger guys have: I cannot (for the life of me) get my shirt to stay tucked in. It just wouldn't. Period.I needed a way to get them to stay tucked in, so that I don't look like a fool riding my bike around, or look sloppy at all when getting out of a car. So, I decided to try the shirt stays, and GOOD HEAVENS, they work like a charm!I used the pack of 2 of them for a year straight, ever single day, rotating them out, making them last, and they have not failed me. I got another pack because I bent the clasp on the top of one of them due to a bike accident, but it still works when I attach it to a double-stitched seam on my shirt. I try to clip one end of the Stay to the sides of my shirt, and the other end to the side (not top: SIDE) of my socks, and I have not had it go wrong yet. They work fantastically.

I'm the type of person that never writes reviews. In this case this product was so horrible that I just had to tell every other consumer out there to stay away.Initially these worked great! I was so happy I found some shirt stays that worked. Within a week the two shirt stays lost their ability to stay clamped and were completely useless. I just noticed my skin getting irritated and I flipped the clip over and saw that the metal was rusting; therefore, causing my skin to get irritated. This is a poorly made product and I would not buy or recommend this to anyone.

I have been wearing shirt stays since my NROTC college days, through my time as a Naval Officer, and into my career as a financial advisor. I have tried all types of shirt stays - and can say these are the best. For a really tall person, they may be tight (I am average height at 5'10) and I have them fully expanded (they would probably stretch-out fine though). The main issues with shirt stays are the come unclipped or they fray after light use. The clipping mechanism eliminates the first issue, and so far, these have held up great. Would highly recommend for both civilian and military use.

I wear shirts stays everyday at work. Before i got these i wore the kind that had the loop and the little black rubber piece that slid in an held the shirt down. I kept having problems with the old shirt stays popping loose at random times like standing up from sitting or getting out of a car or just walking. These stay put! you snap them down into place and you know they are there for the long haul. I have ran with these on and they stay put. Getting in an out of the car no problem. The only time one has ever popped off was because i was putting my wallet in my back pocket and it hit the snapdown wart and released the clip. I will buy these again they are by far the best shirt stays I have ever had. I have had these about six months now and there are still like new.
