I use this in love performances and it works great! I mount it to a heavy microphone stand so it doesn't fall over if someone bumps it. I recommend removing it from the stand when you pack up so it doesn't get damaged.

A superior holder for phones and standard and mini iPads. Very stable with firm locking ability and attaches to stands very well. Not cheap but like all Hercules products its a no compromise design.

I bought this to replace my iPad holder (from Hola Music) they had lasted me 5+ years before a plastic piece broke. While I was very happy to see that the Hercules is made of metal, so it would be very durable, it had one critical flaw for me. As a result, I need to return it.This may not apply to everybody, but for me, the main issue is that the holder sticks straight out from the part that clamps onto a mic stand. On most stands, that’s going to be too low if you attach it to the lower thicker part of the stand. The arm that sticks out from the clamp is horizontal, and it does not adjust or swing up and down. The only way to get the thing to the height that I want is to raise the music stand and clamp the Hercules holder to the upper part of the mic stand.Well, this doesn’t seem like a huge deal (and frankly it probably isn’t), that just puts more of the weight higher up on the mic stand and makes a stand a little too top heavy. I wish that the arm that extended from the clamp was also on a ball joint so that it could be secured into place and I could adjust the position of the iPad in any direction, including up and down.While my previous iPad holder by Hola Music also doesn’t have the ability to move the iPad up and down, the way that the clamp sit sits lower than the center of the iPad holder allows me to clamp it to the lower part of the mic stand, but have the iPad set a few inches higher from where I clamped the holder, if that makes.

I already trust the Hercules brand for mic stands, guitar stands, etc. so when musician friends recommended this tablet/phone holder, it was an easy decision to purchase.It's incredibly well-built, and can attach to most tubular microphone or music stands as well as square tubing or even the edge of a desk or table. There are also ways to alter it out of the box to thread onto a camera tripod mount or the threaded end of a microphone stand.I needed a mount that would allow me to mount not only my aging iPad but also my smartphone. The mount expands to fit both very easily, and the holders can even be adjusted to hold onto a larger device diagonally.All of the threaded knobs to hold the mount in place are very durable-feeling, and easily to adjust without tools.I've already used my mic-stand with this mount on a couple of music gigs, and the only thing I've been cautious about was maintaining a very sturdy balance once all of my gear is attached.Highly recommend not only this mount, but anything from the Hercules brand.

I bought this to secure my iPad to my microphone stand for live performances and it does a great job! The iPad is secure and I don't have to worry about it falling off the holder. There are also multiple points of articulation which allow it to be customized to multiple positions. Highly recommend.

I've had a variety of tablet holders, and this one is the best.1. The arm, swivel and locks are very flexible. Even my 12in Onn tablets fits the jaws (but it's tight), and the arm is long enough to let me tilt the big tablet to view while standing, IE it doesn't hit the main stand pole. This is the biggest advantage of this specific holder.2. It also works with most modern cell phones, securely holding the smaller sizes too.3. The clamp part will secure to the smaller boom or internal pole too, not just the largest diameter pole. This is also a unique attribute.4. It's a bit heavy and has the gaudy yellow bits (branding), but the pluses far outweigh these nitpicks.

I had borrowed this from a friend and loved it enough to purchase my own. Easily the most sturdy, and adjustable phone/tablet holder that I've used. As a gigging musician it helps a ton to have tabs to reference occasionally, and having this allows me to have it all right on my microphone stand at an easy glance. I've tried others that are too stiff, break easily or don't fit the dimensions of my device. This one was perfect. I definitely recommend 👌

Money spent is worth every penny. This is way better than most garbage they offer in the music store. Mostly metal construction. Great clamping system. Seems like a real pro set up. Fits many sizes and very strong spring set up for holding iPads or phones etc. Price is on par with quality.

Using this to hold my 2024 iPad. Love how nice and snug the fit is to my iPad. iPad will not slip out of the holder no matter what angle it is in. I mount it without the cover. The base locks onto table surfaces and mic stands extremely well. No need to over torque any of the knobs. Very versatile when it comes to angle adjustments. I feel comfortable using this at gigs when mounted to a mic stand and is definitely a roadworthy piece of equipment. I have tried other holders and this one is well worth the money for peace of mind.
