The HEPA Filter utilizes a hydrophobic PTFE membrane in an acrylic housing. The clear acrylic housing allows instant visual inspection for contaminates, and the large square Filter has greater surface area than other filters. The hose connections are 5/16" barbed (will fit 1/4" tubing if stretched).

It's says in the product description that it is "Labeled with in and out for proper identification of direction." Not true as I took a magnify lens and could find no such markings. Now I have 3 filters that are junk.

Wrong size, will not fit 1/4 or 5/16 " I.D. tubing !!! ( aquarium sized tubing )
