The dial falls out and you cannot use the clock at all.

While these are nice and sturdy, the key to wind the clocks falls out, making it hard to wind.

I needed clocks to help my students learn about telling time and practice elapsed time. A few problems came up as soon as we opened them. 1. The knob to turn the clock falls off very easily and the small dial is awkward to use.2. The clock takes so long to wind that it isn’t a very efficient tool. You cannot wind it with your finger from the front. Just winding the clock an hour takes several turns. My students tried their best to use them, but they are just too much trouble and they quickly got frustrated. We will probably just give them away. We ordered a different brand that is more kid friendly and easy to use. They are technically functional, but not really worth the trouble in the end.
