Hens didn't appreciate me putting them on them, but they DID appreciate the no pecking and feather pulling that resulted! Made my chickies purrdy.

The best chicken apron I’ve found so far. It stays on for months. This has clearly been the most comfortable apron for them to wear and it completely covers her shoulders at all times. She is a big Cuckoo Maran so it may be a bit large on smaller hens but I’m very impressed. She is on the left, looking fabulous.

Easy to apply, covers the shoulders too for big rooster feet protection. My girl was losing feathers on her back and her shoulders, now they are growing back well. She used to avoid the rooster, now she doesn't mind so much.

My sweet little EE hen (just under 4 lbs) became our Rooster's favorite and his big feet broke off her shoulder feathers, which left her skin irritated and exposed. Her old apron kept her back safe, but not her shoulders. After confining her for the summer and giving time for her feathers to come back in, I am pleased to share that she has re-joined her feathered family and the sturdy new apron with ample shoulder coverage has allowed her to do so. I would add that she spent close to 24 hours trying to "back out from underneath" the apron, as it does have a strap under her neck. After close monitoring, I am confident the apron fits properly and she has adjusted well. The XL was too large and slid off to one side, but L fits perfectly. Thank you so much for a thoughtfully designed, well-made, useful product!

Softest and most durable Hen saddle I could find. I’ve tried many but this one seems to work best. Others tend to be too rough and contribute to the problem or are too thin. Love that it’s made in the USA too!

These hen saver are awesome. My only complaint with this style with the strap that goes over their heads, they hate it, run backwards and jumps around causing other chickens to attack the poor hen wearing it. I would like to see one made with wing protectors without strap going around neck. My hens do not mind the straps around their wings. I did rig this one up so I don't have to use it around their necks, works! These run small too, I have medium size hen and used large. (My opinion)

This was extremely small and didn't fit any of my hens. It is so small I wonder what hens it would fit. Maybe bantams.
